This game explained why Harden is considered one of the best current players: he's been playing smart, creating chances for teammates when missing shots. Also CP3 stood out when the team needed him. The whole team is performing better and learning lessons from every game. I say Rockets in 4 and they are ready for the rougher series.

This is exactly why they brought in CP3. If this was before CP3 on the team, this would of been a loss. Harden use to have a bad night and no one else could carry the team. Now Rockets have CP3 (and Gordon) who can easily make 20+ points a game to make up for Hardens slack and still bring in the win.
(And that is why Houston loss to GSW last year with no CP3)

They also got a TON of friendly whistles. Donovan Mitchell couldn’t be breathed on in the 3rd quarter.
Lets not forget Houston is second in defense since all star break. You can tell Harden wanted this game go but in the clutch he hit a 3 that gave them the lead. Mitchell not ready yet. Refs also gave Utah more free throws than houston, got chris paul and harden at 5 fouls. Like I said, Utah gonna get swept. Its over and although Utah put up a fight, Jazz not ready and had turnovers too.
You act like Harden is the only guy who can score on the team, he isn’t Lebron on the Cavs he has CP3, Capella to dish to, Gordon...they have a good team

Rockets played against 5+1(ref) and still won. So many fouls on Harden were not called and so many bad calls on Rockets defense. Rockets will be the cham this time!

These referees are out of hand. Both calls against Jazz and Rockets were mind numbing..
Nope, it was lopsided in favor of the Jazz. Almost every possession where it looked like the Rockets made a defensive stop against the Jazz, the Refs blew the whiatle to call a bogus foul on the Rockets. And it went that way for 3 and a half quarters until the Rockets started to pull away.
All the fouls they called in favor of the Rockets were the right calls but missed too many of them. Faired got fouled and no call Capela got fouled and no calls. Harden got fouled even more and no calls. CP3/Gordon got fouled and only a few was called.
But Donovan Mitchell was getting so many calls in favor of him that it exposed the Refs trying to put the fix in against the Rockets. That play late in the 4 when Mitchell tried to take Gordon in the post area, and he stopped the ball and tried to do a turn-around scoop shot and Gordon just held his grounds and did not reach or anything and the Ref called a foul on Gordon.
Looking at the Replay, it was a so clear Gordon did not foul him. Mitchell flopped to sell the foul. The same way he flopped at the opening tip of the game when sank that 3-pointer off the top of the backboard. The Ref called a foul on Harden when he didnt even touch him at all.
Mitchel shot it and spread his legs in the air and flopped as if he got hit. It was so obvious to see that he exxagerated when there was no contact. And the Ref knew it but still called a foul on Harden.
When the offense wasn't rolling Harden was a monster on D and with the dimes. MVP!!!

If we get past the Warriors, it'll likely be the Blazers in the Conference Finals. Still won't be easy. It looks as though we got the easiest first round match-up possible. The Jazz D-up, but their offense is absolutely miserable. I've never seen a play-off team clank so many wide open looks, and on their HOME FLOOR. The Thunder, Spurs and Clippers all would've given the Rockets more problems. I hope the Clippers find a way to win game 4, and the Rockets sweep the Jazz. Then they can rest up.

Tough losses like this can make the Jazz better in the future. It wasn’t too long ago that Harden ended the Rockets chances by getting blocked by Ginobli of all people. Every team has to go through tough times to get better.
For the Jazz to beat the Rockets, they will need at least 2-3 more years with more shooting and for some of the Rockets’ players to age. They don’t have the guns right now.
For the Rockets to beat Golden State, they’ll need to wait until at least Durant leaves. By then Chris Paul may not have the gas. The Rockets are always a Chris Paul injury away from getting bounced. It isn’t an if but when Chris Paul gets injured this playoff.
Maybe the league will be more watchable in a few years when the Warriors aren’t so dominant and all teams stop heaving up so many 3-point bricks.
