I've been oil painting now for a yr. I thought oils were the only way. ( in my mind ). Lol. But I since figured out how wrong I was. My first acrylic painting was your cat looking out a rainy window. Actually, it turned out pretty good. I definitely have a lot to learn. I want to thank you for introducing me to acrylics. I look forward to all your tutorials.

No discussion of details or why things are used. He rips over details so fast it's pointless. Great artist, horrible teacher. I'm skilled, no beginner and these are confusing even for me.
@@happy-xi4kqThe only confusing thing about this to me was the color choices. Why is the edge of the water randomly bright blue? The colors look nice together, but it makes no sense. They could've at least faded/blended the blue into the rest of the water.
@@Hmmm3656 definitely a gifted painter at another level. Some stuff just cant be taught. You're either born with it or not.

Beautiful, and your method and techniques inspire me to try this! It is most helpful that you give the color names and what brushes you used. Also, that you showed close up every brushstroke you made. The layering of graduated colors that create the moonglow on the water make it look shiny, like glass! Excellent tutorial! Thank you!
