I’ve been thinking of organising by colour my smaller sets and budget brands so I use them more, this is ingenious I’m so pleased you put this video out now xxx💕
Great video. With Christmas money I bought a couple 120 pencil cases on sale and put as many small sets together so I just pull out a case and have a fun selection. Your idea is awesome too but now I have mine sorted into cases so I will make your colour grouping swatches for each case. I am definitely uses my small sets now. Thanks for sharing!
Great idea. I'm way too ocd to work that way. I only use one brand at a time. But, I enjoyed your video, and I am happy that you have found a system that you are happy with!
Hey Dollar Diva your swatch books are really pretty! You did a Good job organizing. I haven't swatched one color of my coloring supplies. Maybe I'm too lazy. I don't know. That should be one of my goals for this year. It would really make color choices easier. Good job girl I enjoyed your video as always.😁😁😁😁
Pamela Miller Thank you so much. Girl when I started swatching and using color charts it made coloring life a breeze. Never again will that miscolored barrel fool me! LOL
I’ve done exactly what you’ve done.. so many pencils, but I wasn’t using them. One they were charted, side by side, they were all great colors to use. Kathy
Question for you, Neece, or anyone. Why are the golds with the browns and not alongside the yellows? I always have a problem organizing the color sections.
Gail Ducrest Here is how my brain registered it. 1. To my eyes All my gold metallic pencils have more of a brown tone instead of yellow. 2. When I create gold from regular pencils I use browns and ochre colors. 3. I wanted to keep my page with the yellows light, so that's why I paired it with the creams instead of gold. That all may sound weird but that was my thought process 😊
I've done this too. Great minds think alike. My only difference was putting wax with wax and oil based with oil based pencils even though they usually do work together. Your new book is sooo much neater than my old stuff.👵♿🎨 Barb
I always imagined those people who put all their pencils in color groups were able to do so because they are so familiar with their pencils from coloring for years. I put a couple of my pencil sets together (June Golds and Staedtlers Ergosofts) because they feel similar to me. They are swatched together; and they are in order together in a case. I find your idea intriguing. You’re right; the 72-color sets do NOT have enough colors. Putting them together, in the swatch book at least if not also physically together, makes good sense. Thank you, Diva.
I love this idea!! Do you then store them in cups based on color? I'm trying to figure out how to organize my markers and colored pencils. Thank you so much for sharing this idea with us!
THX for watching. I don't store them in cups. I keep them in separate Pencil cases or for the smaller sets in the original packaging or I put them all together in one larger case. I do my markers the same way. If that doesn't make sense I can make a future video showing my cases and storage.
I love this. Great idea. I'm gonna try and do this too. Because I had the same exact reaction about taking my pencils out and grouping them together physically! One question, what do you think of space allocation if you buy more sets in future ? Thanks!
Victoria Muthu Great question! The only pencils I did space allocation for were the derwent color soft, Marco Renoir and the black widows because I can really see myself getting those one day in the future. The others I will just add them to other sets, Or I will completely just make a new list with the larger set if I get it. My main goal is to actually use those smaller sets that lack colors.
I understand what you want to do! But when I decide to color something I usually use whatever I pull out to use and it is usually one manufacturer. It gets to confusing to use too many colors at once.
Hi Neece I see you put all the different colors in group on paper not mugs or glasses and also it's easy to see your lightest, medium to your darkest colors in each color group I love it hope I understood you right because like you they would awesome colors together but when it's to reach colors it was mess withy head🤣
I LOVE WHAT YOU DID LOOKS AWESOME BUT DID CRAYOLA COME WITH NEW COLORS IN A 100CT BOX!! I SAW SOME COLOR NAMES I DON HAVE LIKE ARTIC LIME,MANGO ETC ETC
Cassiee Pouncy yes those were in my 100 set. But there is a 12 set called extreme neons sold separately. I think Some 100 sets didn't come with some of the neons and metallics.
Cassiee I hope this you I'm in ms.Neece the dollar diva group you say you have the 100 Crayola's look at the bottom of your box to if it says different colors because if not you have the box with some duplicate colors in it there are to different boxes one has different colors and the other I think says just colors I hope was helpful
I DONT HAVE MY ORIGNAL BOX PLUS I GOT MY BOX ALMOST 1 YEAR AGO IF NOT LONGER BUT JUST BY LOOKING AT DD99'S SWATCH FROM WHAT I SAW SOME COLORS NOT IN MY BOX. BUT THATS OK I AM GOING TO GET THE 120 BOX OF CRAYOLA,SORT THRU PULL THE NEW COLORS AND SAVE THE OTHERS FOR BACK UPS. THANK YOU FOR UR HELP,MS.JOYCE

So basically you organized them by color on paper rather than physically grouping them together. Love this!!!
Yesssss! Thank you for this statement. It is exactly what I was trying to say the whole video. You did it in one sentence! You ROCK 😁
DollarDiva99 Coloring World I have a way with getting to the point. If only I could make a career out of it!! 😂
Lisa_Meredith1010 😂😂😂
Yes! This makes sense while still keeping the actual pens/pencils separated by brand. I love it!
😊😊😊
This is a great idea! I also have smaller sets that I don't use because I don't think it's enough colors. Great Tip!! Thanks!

That's understandable 😊
