    Great, interesting video! Ainge was a great athlete, and by all accounts, a really good guy. Nicely told story.

      I learned a lot about Ainge. I didn’t know he was on Blue Jays. What a competitor.

      Just watched it. Pretty crazy the old days. When I was watching video I came across Danny Ainge throwing the ball from the baseline into Mario Ellie’s head while him and Olajuwon were celebrating. Insane stuff.

    Jordan is an excellent businessman, even though he "failed" in Charlotte to win or even design a good team. Did Ainge set up the Celtics for their current dominance? He was the exec. director up until three years ago. I guess you could say yes because he hired and promoted Brad Stevens.

    • @Courtside-Stories
      @Courtside-Stories  Місяць тому +2

      I think you have to give credit to Ainge for getting the draft picks and drafting Tatum and Brown. He got them most of the way there and Stevens took them home.

    Jordan is my guy ! But even Jordan knew not to pick a fight with Danny. Danny was a scrapper. He brought 7'1 Tree Rollins to the ground to fight him after a Cheaper Shot elbow to head. Danny was a Major League Baseball Player for 3 years with the Toronto Blue Jays before he joined the Celtics in 1982. He was a REAL brawler.
