@laundrytrainanddharmannlov2467 he did, but it was in the court case debate. Even if he didn't make it, he still won them due to his ex-wife's criminal record. But now that he murdered somebody, neither he nor his ex-wife get the kids. They'll be going straight to foster.
The judge caused all this and should be taking the charges as he did this out of anger and sadness of loosing his kids, I'd put this as a mental case and the judge should receive almost or even all charges for the crime.
So it’s all of a sudden okay to kill a teenage girl in a horrible way because she was disrespectful? It’s a far cry from disrespect to ending someone’s life
An example of how people who go through their whole lives spoiled and entitled can drive someone over the edge. But also how important it is to always keep a cool head in any situation that gets stressful.
There NEEDS to be a part 2 of this! That father committed murder & road rage and just found out he regained custody of his kids, but once the police & judge founds out about what he did, he will lose the very same custody he just gained after the previous owner of the kids had a criminal record just like he just got. You think the father is devastated, just imagine how those kids are going to feel when they found out that their real biological father just got a criminal record as well just like their old Guardian.
@Joshua Lowe I like your idea but I would rather have it be don was daydreaming and thinks this out and thinks better of not doing it. Or Sophie was thinking of what could happen if she was to do these actions and thinks heh maybe I shouldn't poke the bear. Be like when the show in the 80 Dallas and the whole J.r dream and j.r wasn't really dead.
Just drive away and not fight by uesing violences in road rage fight because no one wins a fight by uesing violences in road rage. In this video a girl is dead and the angry driver will go to jail for the rest of his life or get the death penalty for murder.
@Dominic Liner Nah! Just taking note on how to avoid pr survive road rage. BTW, she wasn't no victim. Not when you flipped the guy off and spat on him.
She really should have apologized and admitted what she did wrong. But she had to escalate it until it got so out of hand. This is so much like the movie 'Unhinged'.
If things couldn't get worse, Sophie would've just told the truth and apologized to Don at 5:53 about the bottle she threw out of her car's window causing Don's car tire to pop, and other dangerous things she did.
The most realistic presentation of the human psyche within contemporary cinematic history, third time watching still so in love with this thrilling, deeply human story.
Wow. That was very tragic for both parties. If I was in that dad’s place, I would have explained my situation to the girl as calmly as I could (while still slightly stressed due to the child custody case). If she still didn’t apologize, I would take a deep breath and just leave because it’s not worth it to get angry over it in the long run
@@ivisyung3088 I don’t think that girl deserved to die, but I think she shouldn’t have been so prideful about it and should have taken accountability for throwing that bottle outside the window
Both sides are wrong. Yes, Don was definitely in the wrong for not keeping his cool and going as far as to killing Sophie, Sophie was pretty disrespectful towards him and should've just admitted she was wrong for throwing the bottle and causing Don a flat tire and spit in his face, and apologized. That is such a tragic moment on both sides.
At 5:23 you actually don't see his tire being flat - the one he is pointing to when he noticed it. It looked like a perfect tire. And that the people in cars on the left of the incident don't even see what is happening at the scene.
Honestly I think he should have called the court that there was traffic and his tire was busted. Honestly if that judge decides on who gets the custody of the child just because of who’s earlier, he or she is terrible judge. Like what if the mother abused the child the the father is a good father and cares for the child but he’s late-
For people saying it’s the girls fault for not apologizing, ITS BOTH OF THERE FAULT. The guy with the gun should’ve stayed calm and the girl should’ve apologized or not be rude. She’s only 16 and she didn’t deserve to lose her life, yes she was a jerk. But killing someone is not okay no matter what. Just stop hating her like that and actually be reasonable 💀💀
The girl acted very entitled like the world owes her something. She could of apologized. The other girl did but not her. It was like it was beneath her. The guy on other hand. Shouldn't lost his cool. Now he has criminal record and has to spend time in prison. I can't believe he shot her with people there.
Lessons learned: 1. Be patient and more understanding. The judge, Martha, and everyone in court need to understand that the traffic is not Don's fault and people may run into obstacles out of their control that make them late. I've had to call my boss about being late stuck in traffic a few times and he was totally cool with it knowing that it was out of my control. 2. While Don wanted to do something to Sophie for how she behaved and her being in the wrong (initially). He could've just took a picture of her license plate, car, and face and filed a report to have her punished for her behavior. 3. Cutting him off and flipping him off was one thing. But throwing the glass out of the window in the path of cars is ultimately what caused this. Sophie could've at least thrown the glass out her passenger window where it would've gone to the side of the road and not in the path of vehicles. She continued to escalate the situation by not taking responsibility for her actions (something NOBODY does nowadays), not admitting she was in the wrong, and refusing to apologize but nooo, she just had to win. 4. Most importantly you don't know what kind of mood someone may be in or what another person's situation is or things have been going for them. That person's mom dad or any other loved one could've just passed away, they could've lost their job, or in this case about to loose their kids. They may be on edge and anything you do no matter how small can be just enough to push them over the edge. When someone is in that situation, they can almost bipolar and any inconvenience or small thing can turn them from a normal sane person, to a raging rampaging psycho.
Anyone who goes apeshit is "bipolar"? No wonder people like me don't talk about our condition, you assume we are ALL easily prone to be complete psychopaths. *False.* Learn how to distinguish mental illnesses and don't lump bipolar people as psycho's.
Every bad thing Sophie did: 1. Cut him off 2. Flipped him off 3. Threw a glass that flattened his tire (and then lied about it) 4. Talked back to him 5. Refused to apologize 6. Told him to go to Hell 7. Spat in his face (That counts as assault BTW)
While Don should not have resorted to deadly force, Sophie was terribly wrong with her snotty attitude and she pissed off the wrong guy. I feel no sympathy for her at all.
Killing is always wrong no matter what, and the guy is insane for killing somebody over a tire, but it also says something about that girl that she couldn't apologize even when her life depended on it. Edit: Okay, yeah, he was actually mad about how he lost his kids because of her behavior. Still not justification, but not as crazy as doing it over a tire.
Don shouldn’t have shot Sophie, but I’m shocked that she was so prideful that she wouldn’t apologise for causing his tyre to pop when her life was on the line. I would have apologised.
This made me cry I was so upset my uncle just recently passed away because of an accadent and this was just was miserable to see how peoples true colors
I could easily see an awful scene like this happening. There are just so many angry, out of control people today. Of course, the young ladies horrible attitude was like throwing gasoline on a fire that was already out of control. It was just a terrible tragedy for all involved.
Why does he have to apologize to her like I mean shooting is bad but she couldn't apologize to her then everything will be good and also she wouldn't even be killed in the first place
Both parties are at fault. You can’t control the fact that you’re stuck in traffic because someone got in an accident but you can accept responsibility for your actions, avoid escalating the situation, and control your temper. It is better to be late to something (even a court hearing) than be impatient to the point that you cause another accident/incident. This is why it’s important to teach all teens to be defensive drivers and to be aware that other drivers have lives (work, legal proceedings) and might not be as patient/forgiving. Drive safely.
M.S. it was a road rage fight that no one win one is dead and the other will be going to jail for the rest of his life or get the death penalty for murder.
We tend to think that one person is responsible for certain incidents like this, but this video goes to show that sometimes it's the fault of people from both sides.
in a road rage, dont be the smart guy. if the other dudes eway more threntening than you let it go.suck it up and apologise. sometimes ther word sorry could deescalate the situation. and if the diver rages dont retaliate, dont stick your finger just drive past and go on with your day

Shame on all the other drivers who didn't come to her rescue. At least the young man had the gumption to try to save her. And yes the girl should have apologized for cutting him off, and throwing the bottle out that caused his flat tire. Also not make things worse by spitting in his face.
I would say that girl deserves what she got. She was asking for it. Probably the other drivers had seen the incident and DECIDED not to help her, while this clown in the brown shirt just came in and did not know what is going on, and acted otherwise.
Yea, repeatedly taunting someone who was already in rage? She got what she was asking for. Plus, let’s not act like she didn’t throw GLASS on the streets which can cause major problems

I think this has some more important messages than just about road rage. I am a children’s rights activist involved in a nonprofit organization that is trying to make changes within the family court and think this video can help. Not only does it show that parents need to control their anger but men need better from the family court system to help fathers and children have proper relationships. I see it everyday that men are angered by a system that fails them when all they want is to be in their children’s lives. The ending of this story is just further proof that far too often the family court and mothers do not give men a fair chance to raise their kids. It also shows how the system causes a lot of fathers anger that they wouldn’t have if they were just given the chance to raise their kids. Ladies please do not take this as a knock on all women because not all women keep the fathers of their kids away from dads. Thank you for this powerful video.
Both are guilty on their part for this incident, Don for anger get the better of him and Sophie for antagonizing him without thinking of what the consequences her actions might bring

And they didn't cover her
@@astru2619 I noticed that too!
@@astru2619 I agree,! 👍
Lessons learned:
Thank you, very well said!
conclusion girl was a complete dumbass
Anyone who goes apeshit is "bipolar"? No wonder people like me don't talk about our condition, you assume we are ALL easily prone to be complete psychopaths. *False.* Learn how to distinguish mental illnesses and don't lump bipolar people as psycho's.
Nah fr. It’s not that hard to apologize 💀💀
Every bad thing Sophie did:
1. Cut him off
2. Flipped him off
3. Threw a glass that flattened his tire (and then lied about it)
4. Talked back to him
5. Refused to apologize
6. Told him to go to Hell
7. Spat in his face (That counts as assault BTW)
While Don should not have resorted to deadly force, Sophie was terribly wrong with her snotty attitude and she pissed off the wrong guy. I feel no sympathy for her at all.
