One thing you can say about the hobby is that it's never boring. Always a lesson, always a challenge, sometimes a mystery, but never mundane. This adventure is a perfect case in point. Love your videos.
She is a beauty. Pity there weren't more slings, but better than none at all. That green is almost iridescent. Just lovely. Thank you for sharing them.
That mossy area she constructed looks like a Hummingbirds nest, it's beautiful I love Hummingbirds 😊
I almost missed this. She’s beautiful and those slings are too cute. ❤
@11:15 great camera work, Mrs. Beastie!
Momma is beautiful, im glad you managed to save the rest of the slings. Obviously not very maternal bless her ❤
Mum had a face on her abdomen , did anyone else notice ? 😅 love those spider legs ❤
Perhaps She 8 them all 🤭 ThankYou for another great , informative and interesting video ! All at The Beastie Room
Congratulations! Beautiful spiders! I’ve got a bunch of female E cyanognathus that I can’t wait to pair!
Lovely to see those babies! Sorry there weren't more, but it's all a great learning opportunity. Interesting to see the green on their abdomens. Mom is quite a looker. Such striking markings! Always love to have a decently long video. I'm sure no one would have been bored to watch you catching even 50 slings and putting them in individual pots. :)
Absolutely brilliant Dave, I thought there was only going to be one sling, luckily there were more,,Another fantastic job by yourself and camera 📷 lady Dave.
Dave and Mrs Camera Lady! 😁👋🏼☺️
I love how they're so tiny, but you can already see the little 'bone' markings on their legs.
Very interesting and informative.
Where I live (Southern Sierra Nevada foothills of California), males of the native tarantula species are frequently seen traversing the ground in October seeking mates.
Most 'locals' try not to disturb them (or put on a Barry White record to encourage them) as they go about their business, tourists tend to freak out at the sight.
Ive seen this as well, hundreds and hundreds crossing the road. This was on the Carrizo plain, tucked between Bakersfield to the east and San luis Obispo/central coast, to the west
I was first......yes I was. ❤❤❤
good morning
Hello Dave and Camera Lady. Oh!congratulations on such beautiful babies! 🎉 Fuzzy and green! How exciting to have had a success with this hungry girl. She is a stunner, is she not? I would not find it hard to believe that she had snacked on a few of these little guys. Maybe they are just not as maternal as some of the others. I wonder what you would see in the wild with them. Where are these T’s found in the wild? Okay, we are in the midst of a lovely thunderstorm so I am going to turn out the lights and fall asleep listening to the rain. Thank you for the wonderful video. 😊. Take care of each other and stay safe. Good night my friends.♥️🖤♥️⛈️⚡️🌩️💨🌈
damn it! missed it again. that's what I get for answering wife's phonecall. 😁
Wow !! That was wild !! 🕷️🕷️🕷️🕷️
Great show Mr Dave and Mrs camera lady! Congrats on finally getting some Skelton leg slings! I'm glad she didn't eat this one
Good Morning!
I sent my male E.murinus I'd raised from about an inch dls out for pairing back last year. The female ate the first sac, just like yours did. And, like yours, she has now double clutched as well. Spinnerets crossed that we have some success, like you finally did! Definitely cool to hear some of your feedback and thoughts regarding your female's behavior. If it helps us to have some success as well then I'll be stoked! I have been watching your E.murinus videos (I watch all your videos). I did catch your update (in whatever video that was), that yours had double clutched a while back. I had honestly been wondering how that turned out! It really made me happy reading the headliner for this video and seeing that thumbnail image. Even if it was only a handful of slings that made it out! Some truly incredible content that Camera Lady makes possible for you to put out into the world on a regular basis! Thank you! I hope you enjoy raising these 9 up and look forward to your future videos on them, and all your beasties! Hope to be raising some more of my own as well here soon! Take care you guys!
Good luck 🤞
@@daveslittlebeasties He pulled the sac a few days past 30 days... 98 slings in total. No bad eggs and all have made it to 2i with only a few dropped legs. Double clutch gang! Lol. Hope yours are doing well! Wondering if you ever found anymore crawling around mama's enclosure after this video?
@@stevejohnson1698 No just the 9 I should have pulled them when I first noticed them 😂👍
Allways a pleasure to see your guys films. Real documentaries.
Great job!
Beautiful as slings and mum is stunning, another 9 added for the long term beastie breedings
It was a pleasure meeting you and camera lady at the show. Astrid and I would love to see you at the next show and can't wait to be there. I shall of course be wearing my beastie hoodie again!! We have always loved your content as it is informative and very natural. Take care from Aj and Astrid!!
Thanks guys was awesome to meet you and that hoodie does look really good on you ❤
Amazing! She made a wonderful home and her yard that you guys did was also beautiful. The moss was laid out perfectly and the one plant was in the perfect place. That cone web was awesome! I enjoyed watching you play a hidden object adventure, best game I've seen😜. Thank you guys for making my morning wonderful❤❤❤❤
Another lovely video Dave. The slings look beautiful. Awesome enclosure 🤟🏼
Thanks buddy 🙏
i love this species..... I have a E. murinus sling as well and they are beautiful!
Beautiful babies and mum thanks Dave and Camera lady xxx
Fascinating! I JUST fed my E. murinus & then saw this uploaded as soon as I closed the lid! Keep up the great work & excellent videos! 🤘
She's so beautiful she's the best halloween spider 🕷🕷 so sorry you don't have more babies .. it's so cool to be able to see and learn so much information that we woudn't be able to learn otherwise..thank great vid
❤❤❤❤
Love these skeleton legs! Absolutely gorgeous! ❤
Hi there dear Dave and Sweet Camera Lady and what a happy morning with your video and breakfast! Have a wonderful day, greetings to you both and to all your viewers! 👋👩🦳👍🕷❤
Dang Dave she is stunning!!!!!! Fantastic video thank you soooooo much!!!!!
Great video again Dave! Lovely to see.
Awe those little slings are so cute
Just wanted to let you know Dave you are very experienced and intelligible
for only having 40 years in the hobby lol I don't think you could make a boring video you don't know me but you are my mentor for this hobby cheers much love to you and camera girl
Im honoured thank you 👍❤️
I'm not much of a UA-cam commenter but I gotta say, you capture the most amazing footage. I really enjoy this channel.
Thank you 🙏 ❤
Wow Dave! What a beautiful mom you've got there! Lovley bunch of babies! Bravo!!!❤
As always, love your content Dave! My E. Murinus is quite odd...... very calm and docile, and does not like to burrow for some reason, she covered the hide I premade and just enjoys sitting out. Only aggression I've ever seen from her is with her water dish lol. I'm tempted to set her up terrestrial in the future.
I have 2 skeleton leg slings. They're absolutely fascinating to watch. I simply cannot wait for them to grow.
Beautiful spider. Gorgeous Slings! I saw the green. Like a luminescent metallic green. Shame that there were only 9. But as you said, you are learning from her. I am looking forward to updates on these beauties. Great job Camera Lady!
Another fantastic vid. Love this species
Another cool video!!! 🫶
Nice one Dave . Mum looks good, and the babies , what a beautiful shade of green 💚
Those slings look like they have been eating. Probably cannibalism?
Awe,I got both my E. Murinus slings when they were about that size, maybe a tad bigger. So far they’ve been easy to raise, they’ve made a burrow and web tunnels. I think they’re pushing around 1 3/4” - 2”, I can’t say for sure since I haven’t seen them out fully in a while. It’s been fun to watch them grow, they’re excellent eaters too.
What a beautiful enclosure setup! It looks like you just cut out a perfect cube from the earth that just happened to be housing this spider and set it into a glass box!
❤❤❤
Beautiful mate one of my favourites!
Awesome babies Dave!Congratulations ❤😊
Gorgeous spiders! Definitely one on my wish list. ❤
Awesome Video Davies little beasties and i hope you are well
She’s awesome and so are her babies.
I bought 2 reasonable big slings from this species last sunday at a fair. Really impressed with how they look when they grow older.
Great vid Dave and isn't Mum lookin good and the babies are so cute great work as always by Camera Lady ..
I am sure happy that you have babies.
The mom is awesome.
The enclosure was built very nicely it was definitely naturalistic, those slings were so cute. I think you maybe building that enclosure for a while, her tunnel was so brilliantly made! I throughly enjoy the nymphs and sling’s videos I get kind of broody! ❤
Thank you man
Beautiful slings ❤ green
They’re beautiful babies. Mom looked good, too. 👍👍
lovely spider Dave,ive had a sling for a few months,its a little beauty.have a great day
this species is on my wish list! I hope I can find some here in Canada soon, just haven't had any luck seeing any for sale
they're so beautiful and iconic
congratz on the babies :)
She is a beauty! Congratulations to them babies 😀
Mom looking good as she was grubbing on the babies
I love the set up you did on that tank. It looks like it has a little hobbit hole right in the middle 😊
This is my first time watching one of your videos and i love how you explain it and think about your veiwers getting bored
Awesome and welcome to our channel ❤️👍
Great video💯👍thanks❤😄
Wow, those babies are so beautiful😍🥰, sorry for the losses hopefully better luck next time🍀
She looks mink, Dave! Like a mink stole…but surprise😃, it’s a tarantula!
Beautiful spiders guys great video guys xxxxx
Enjoyed your video
Her home reminds me of a hobbit hole from the outside 😂
So enjoyable to watch. Your content is excellent!!!
Thank you so much!❤️
Hello great video information Dave
great video. a small success is a success none the less. congrats
You should create a sling sifter for yourbl fossorial spider mommas and sling! Build your sifter with any kind of screen small enough to capture slings.... take out cork bark and branches.... then take out mum.... then u can just dump substrate into the sifter over one of your bug bins and brush all the substrate thru the screen keeping the webbing and slings on top the sifter for counting! Just a idea! MAYBE! lol good show as usuall .r Dave and Mrs. Camera lady
Man i love ur content ,now i want a spider ):
GREAT video
She is so very very beautiful 😊😊❤
Great video 📹 👍 👏 👌
Hi Dave and Camera Lady 💙💕🕷️hope you’re both doing well today.
Camera Lady was brilliant today following all the action with the slings, those wee things could move 😅
I’d still call 9 slings a success, like you said you can grow them on, add them to your breeding.
Mum is a beauty and still in fine condition.
Looking forward to seeing your next project!
Take care both, and have a wonderful upcoming weekend 💙💕🕷️😘xxx
Fascinating to see how you go about collecting the slings. Just veering of topic and out of morbid curiosity, is camera lady/wife as passionate about this hobby as you are? Is it an interest she has grown to love to? She does a great job with the camera 👍
Yes she enjoys them ❤
@@daveslittlebeasties can understand that. Could easily sit for hours in the room and just observe them all 👍
Brilliant.
very interesting how only a few slings have been found PROFF, has mother eaten some or the other slings helped with only the strongest survives. the few that are left is still a good result . colour on the slings is brilliant,, some great footage CAMERA LADY, WELL DONE.---many thanks guys and take care
Better these 9 slings than none at all, right ? It's rather interesting the size difference between a couple of them and the rest. You only got one quick threat posture from the female, she calmed down surprisingly quickly once she was in the catch cup. Looking forward to seeing the growth progress on these.
Stay safe and thanks for sharing :)
Nice vid 👍
Lol that lil spring tail was like Ahhh they found Me Runnnnn😊😊
Shes a pretty girl
9 is better than 0 but hopefully you will come across a few more over then next few days
Love your content guys always brilliant work 😊👍
❤ I absolutely love this spider
They're awesome, but category "pet hole". Actually seeing them is relatively rare, if they have a nice burrow to sit in and aren't unbelievably hungry.
Potting up bebes! Nightmare lol - I only video potting up with the smaller species of mantis because as you say...hours of doing the same thing on video is pretty bloody boring 😆 Nice video, mate.
Cheers buddy 👍
Hi Dave She is a beautiful Skelton leg tarantula. Nine babies is better than none. I like her enclosure, it looks so natural. That Webb tunnel that she made was amazing. Those little slings are cute. They look very good. Maybe there were more, and she did eat some. But still a good success. She was very calm, and behaved well i hope that when they grow up, you will have some males.❤🕷🕸Cindy USA
Hay David I am a fan of your channel I would love to see a care video on the skeleton I have a female and think about a new setup thanks
Would any of the 3 large roaches that you took out have killed or eaten any of the slings?
I was thinking the same thing
I don’t think so
Amazing
Why don’t I do it? Because I don’t want to. The end
Well done! “We will do as Camera Lady says.” Sounds like good advice.
Might the slings have eaten each other?
Thanks for another wonderful video.
Sending love and light from here.
Very possible they eat each other
Love the videos brother! E. murinus is one of my favorite species - I have one but it’s only 2.5” at the moment. What size tanks are these? I’m in the US but I can google the conversion 😂
Looks like a Komodo 30x30x30cm
30x30x30
Could the roaches eat them? They are very cute. I hope more show up.
I am interested in these babies. (Not purchase, just to follow their progress. This is my second fave spider today....lol ).
I got an e murinus and a p murinus in the same shipment a few weeks ago. Never see either. 😂 Both are slings.
They become more confident as they grow
Ooh I don't have one of these in my collection. They are cute
The female is gorgeous
I was wondering as well if the larger slings could or would have eaten the others? Wonderful video and stunning spiders!
They may have
If they stayed that size forever I'd be able to tolerate them lol
Thank youuuuuuuu
