I have the this one and the steel Heimdallr black dial Willard homage. Both great. I wear the titanium version more, but the sometimes the black dial is the way to go. Only one wuibble is the blue AR. coating on the black dial is distracting and seems to tint the dial blue from some angles. By the way, the curvy undercuts to the case are so sexy. Unique in the true sense of the word.
The dial is absolutely beautiful! I've had this watch on my radar for quite awhile now but there are just too many negatives. I'd rather spend $100 more for a much better finished and specd watch. If San Martin made it, I'd already have bought it.
@@Area_man115there isn't one. I have a titanium Willard homage also by Heimdallr but with the champagne dial. I replaced the ceramic bezel with a aluminium one which is yellow/gold with brown for the first 20 mins. I wear it on a two piece NATO in a dark khaki and it's perfect for hot sticky days. I get many compliments, the juxtaposition of the champagne sunburst dial with the grey titanium and strap, it's a great looking watch. Even back on the bracelet the different bezel insert lifts the watch. If you want a low weight Willard homage, I don't know of another. Personally I think that Willards look better on a Waffle and wouldn't bother with the bracelet. The clasp looks cheap and the bracelet is quite sharp on the edges, it is comfortable though. You should also loosen and re-tighten the case back to prevent the titanium from bonding. There are lubricants to prevent this, Heimdallr chose not to apply any (on my example at least)
@ I like aluminum bezels. Is it difficult to change the bezel on this one? Your watch with the champagne dial: is that colorway still available? I can’t seem to find it new. Yesterday I ordered a Heimdallr titanium Willard with the ‘sculptured’ blue dial. Am expecting to change out the bracelet with a black quick release tropical FKM band, if you think that’s good idea. Hi allot of these watches on aliexpress are stating 200 metres waterproof but buyers are having issues with moistre getting into the dial on other brands, have you tested this model.
You bring up a good point. I have gone swimming with this watch and there was no water intrusion. Gary at the I Like Watches channel has tested quite a few Ali Express watches, mostly Tandorios that have not performed well, ie failed water intrusion tests. I highly recommend his channel if you’re interested in those results.

Why does it matter that the bracelet can’t lay flat against the caseback?
