Training week. 1st trip to the USA!

Week 1 of training at Big Freight has started. After a couple of days in the training room, I take my first trip into the USA in the Kenworth T680, and I meet some of the Team!

Great video Andy, the roads seem much quieter than over here. They seem to be quite strict on weights, axles etc . I wouldn’t like moving the trailer loaded with trailers without chains 😱. Looks like the weather is picking up though. You seem to be enjoying it , which is great ,keep us in the loop 👍

Spot on mate that was a scary looking trailer. If that shifted in town, Jesus! Going up North a bit to them mines, so slightly warmer weather isn't good as its more like sheet ice in the UK, wet and slippery. Anything below -14 and it's got some grip to it. It's going to be super interesting heading on the dirt track to the mines though

Wow, how cool, could you detour and drop one of those Polaris things off here. They look very nice as do the huge wagons. How long are they and what weight do you carry. Had a look where you are going. Not like home but very exciting. Drive safely, thanks for the video. 😊

The trailers are 16.2m and we can carry 34000lbs on the drive and trailer axles. But with spring time restrictions it goes down to 50-90% of that on certain roads. Hence all the faffing about we had to do with that trailer.
