And Strohl didn't even get to fully show his potential because of the invisible resistance to Slash 😂 but it really isn't that hard (tho I did defeat the human bosses, haven't tried the getting the cheevo)
Attacks miss, finally hit, boss heals, and so on, then he soul crys and gains an extra 4 turns, until after an endless grind, 2 smashed controllers and tv's you finally manage to beat him with no MP and only basic attacks left. Ended up having to throw items at him to kill him only for the second form to come
Running out of MP was definitely my problem. Honestly though, second attempt with Heismay instead of Hulkenberg (Sorry best girl) went much better, if only Heismay's just over there dodging everything and costing Louis all his turn icons.
Honestly, I found Hulkenberg pretty useless the entire game. Her Archetype kinda blows 😂 Same with Junah and her dancer archetype. She’s much more useful as a healer
Regarding MP consumption, one of the archetype has a passive skill to double effect of healing objects. Keep this skill in the party and give mp recovery items with the hero concerned whenever needed. I had a bunch of those items by the end of the game but still this was much needed.
that's nice, it was extremely hard for me because idk how OP Heismey is. I completed it w/ Strohl, Hulkenberg, and Junna. I used a lot of items, and each have inherit skills Magic Link just to save MP.
This guy was hard for me his final phase endless turns I finally did it, but it took me forever and I did not do it on hard. I play the whole game on hard until I met this dude and finally had to change it to normal it could’ve been also that it was 2 in the morning, and I was trying to beat him.
@@axelcabanillas3232 I started the game on hard difficulty and I never had any problems until the end, just when I had to fight Louis, I change the difficulty to normal
@@axelcabanillas3232It’s definitely a very cheap fight, with fully buffed accuracy/evasion, he’d still avoid your moves and you wouldn’t dodge more often than not. Was losing my mind getting him to the end and it just refusing to dodge, with fully buffed evasion, so he was getting all extra turns every single time.
There's a weapon for the Warrior lineage named "Beloved Greatsword" that increases the strength of your synthesis skills, but at the cost of more MP. As for the synthesis turn icon reduction, it is done by having an accessory named "Utilitarian's Manual" equipped on a character.
Eh idk about that managed to beat it on hard with everyone in their 60s, just used basillios royal archetype with the necklace that lets you go twice and he was hitting around 7k per round
This was an incredibly hard boss and i'm glad. I managed to beat it with Prince Will, Royal Berserker Basilio, Royal Warrior Strohl and Royal Dancer Junah with Mercy Mask. At first this comp sounds unbalanced but somehow it works out extremely well when you deal a quadjillion damage every turn. Wasn't easy nevertheless.

Used mono tycoon team and blast through the boss. Dragons and elegy of the soul are much harder for me, or maybe because I didn't use mono tycoon team at that time when I fought the dragons.
The whole game felt pretty chill on difficulty, even the dragon trial but this was so odd. I was intentionally under powered and underprepared but it felt impossible unless i had royal archetypes. I could be bad, but this seems odd for how meh hard was
I'm confused. Why charadrius second phase on my gameplay has 8 press turns? 12 in totals if you add the soul scream. Did I miss something? or does it have some kind of hidden rules that my dumb ass too lazy to read?
My strategy for beating it without destroying all the crystal was using royal thief with max agility and high evasion on heismay. If Louis miss an attack it will consume all of his turn icons
@@lacrimosa3716I already beat him by depending on hulkenberg’s royal knight repel passive to waste all of the boss’ turn lol. That skill really came in clutch, even though it takes me 5 hours to beat the final boss
I have seen bad boss design, but this one takes a cake, boss is so badly design, you buff your party defense then the boss always remove all buffs from party and then attack 4 or sometimes 5 times and even can remove 2 action point, not to mention i run out of mp potions so basically nothing to do but to defend heal and auto attack
Yea the Boss was good in Terms of difficulty since i mean ITS the Finalboss! But yea the Lack of Mp restoring items was a pain in the ass since the areas before the Boss we're pretty large and already consumed Most of my mp items so in endet Up having to Invest all in passive Mp Recovery and IT still wasnt enough😂
Definitely cheap. But if you debuff him AND buff your party, seems like it always focuses on removing the debuff, so he doesn’t debuff your buffs, other than the rare “great reset.” All comes down to RNG though, you need to get lucky enough to dodge his second to last move, so he doesn’t get “Soul Scream,” and it loved you either dodge too early or not at all.
They expect the player to understand how the general SMT system works by the end of the game. When in doubt, use all party block melee and magic and go from there.
No, he is fair. The rule is that so long as you debuff him once he will not take away your buff, so use those attacks that also debuff against him. As for his 8 press turn, run either Heisemay dodge tank or Hulkenberg to chew through his press turns. At this stage you are given everything to fight him, you just have to figure it out
Oh no seems as though this Final Boss Is an MP Dump, how did you manage to get so Many MP Potions😂 I have 5 days left and I’m Lvl 58 how am I going to stand a chance against this boss😭the prospect of grinding sounds terrifying to me
The Dinasty something move that Heimsay does buffs ATK by 3 pips (among other things) for 3 turns, If your stats are high enough the rightmost head will take 5/6k damage consistently with the strongest synthesis with the leftmost close behind (the center one is still a b*ch though). The problem is that strategy consumes a LOT of mana with the sword that increase the damage and a lot of turns if you don't use the amulet that lowers the turn requirement.
The design is baller, but its in now way shape or form fun to fight for a more casual player. This boss is a little too high-skill for my tastes and it has WAYYY to much BS moves.
