    I bet Bella will love the Malory Towers and St Clares books. My daughter loved the Pony Club Secrets books when she was Bella’s age. Ive noticed in school I see the girls Bella’s age love the Daisy series by Kes Gray, David Walliams’ books and the Worst Witch series. The Murder series Bella was reading in the video has been popular too! X

    I ADORED Enid Blyton at Bella's age, I had all the Famous Five, Secret Seven "Five Find Outers" (the ones with the titles going like "The mystery of the....") And the "Adventure" series ("Circus of Adventure" "Castle of Adventure" etc) and I also liked a series by Blyton about a family who lived in 2 wooden caravans but I forget the name. I Also loved "The Wishing Chair" and "The Faraway Tree" if Bella's after fantasy ones.
    Have a little look for Anna James' "Pages and Co" series, It came out when I was in secondary school but would be suitable for Bella's age group (Books for ages 9-12 or 13 are often called "Middle Grade" and it fits perfectly into that classification) and they're about a voracious reader who lives in her grandparent's bookshop and gains the ability to travel in and out of books (known as "bookwandering") and features a lot of differerent classical literary characters. If she's into fantasy comedy "Artemis Fowl" by Eion Colfer is a great series about a 12yr old Irish criminal mastermind who kidnaps a fairy and finds out the fair folk are not what you might expect. There's also a sequal series called 'The Fowl Twins" but I'd avoid mentioning that until she's on the last book to avoid a spoiler as the titicular twins don't pop up until book 4 or 5. Even though the sequal series didn't come out until I was an adult I still buy and read them when they come out as I still love that series. Just a few recomendations that aren't the usual Percy Jackson and Harry Potter fantasy. I'd recomend "The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flammel" series by Michael Scott as amazing fantasy books incorperating a lot of historical figures and mythological characters but it might be more suited to somebody a year or 2 older than her. Would obviously depend on her maturity, your opinion as a parent and her "reading age" so I'll mention it but it might be worth researching it first.
    Would you be interested in doing a morning routine video? You've created two evening routines since Will started Secondary but no morning routines and I'd assume a lot has changed there too.

    Great Vlog! My Mum loved Famous Five when she was a child and then I loved the series too!
    What time do you put all the children to bed? My 3 year old goes to bed for 7pm but I have no idea when that changes and to what time!

    Just a couple of things I noticed out of interest. Why don’t the children get changed out of their school uniform from school and doesn’t Will wear a formal uniform to high school?

    • @MummyofFourUK
      @MummyofFourUK  Місяць тому

      They have clean uniform every morning, so just stay in it after school then put it in the wash. Some nights they change for activities etc. Lots of schools have polo shirts not ties now x
