- Come shopping with me in Aldi to do our weekly grocery shop for myself, my husband and 3 children (our eldest is currently at university). I have used my planner to check which ingredients I have that need using, write a meal plan and a shopping list.
I usually do my grocery shops online, most recently with Sainsbury's. Is it time to shake it up? Will I be inspired to try new things hopping in store? And will I save any money or end up sending more? Each month I plan to visit a different supermarket to find the answers.

I started watching your channel specifically because of the grocery hauls before the pandemic. I love seeing the inside of stores and supermarkets from around the world and the different brands and forms of products. Food is so much cheaper in the UK than in the US. I thought it never got cold enough in the UK to need deicer.I don't want it to cost you a lot of money for a video, though. Much love!

Make your own sauces? Bulk cook then bag up to freeze. I am an old fashioned cook, I cook from scratch. Having eight children I found it essential to budget and stretch meals. Last night I made large Pasties, using up minced beef, I had lots of stew packs that I had made and frozen, just had to add herbs and beef stock. Pastry is made in batches by pound weights. Plain flour, 4oz of lard, 4oz butter. Makes 14 pasties. Keep a larder so when offers come you buy in bulk. Longterm savings. I know it sounds difficult but it really isn’t. All cakes can be made too. 👍👍👍💗💗

I think it would be fun if you got some of the Aldi brand of biscuits and candy and do a taste test! Are they as good as the name brand? Was fun to see you shop at Aldi! I like shopping there in America!
Just along from the little fromage frais was the big pots of it in a yellow and pink pot, they are great!

I personally do like the come shop with me as you get to see prices but it’s doing what’s best for you. I have shopped online and I still do sometimes mostly for a big shop but I have been going to the supermarket to Lidls to do a food shop as I like to change it up a bit. I loved this xx

I'm a big aldi fan, although my local store is rather small. Your store looked vast and awesome!
I shop between aldi and tesco. The packet rice's are nice, jar curries with spices, sausages, frubes (own version) and fromage frais which you were looking out. Liked most things from Aldi we've tried. If trying for the first time I tend to try 1 pack first. Love the reed diffusers and candles great value ❤

Your come shop of me videos are one of my favourites (B&M and Primark mostly as of yet) and I'm glad to see this theme expand. Especially since I grew up my whole life in the UK and have since moved away, so seeing what is available is also nostalgic for me, on top of the curiosity to simply see how these shops have changed, in terms of new products etc.
Just an addition > The cheaper spaghetti's are usually super-heated to dry faster, some people may have increased problems digesting this. You can know this if they are quite dark in colour as opposed to a pale cream colour (does not apply if they contain eggs since the yolk will also make it darker naturally).
We buy a lot of Aldi stuff, it is great. Biscuits, cereals, rices and grains, curry sauces. We buy their xl chickens as they’re good value. And don’t forget the middle aisle. I know you use a shopping list on planner but I use a shopping list app where you can click on the item as you shop 😊

If you did not want to do the come shop with me every week. Aldi do click and collect. That could save you the time instead of going and narrating everything in the supermarket. I know you would still have to go and pick up the grocery shopping but that way you also try different foods as well. Maybe worth looking at

BTW, I think Americans are more likely to have deep fryers than air fryers.

Better to buy the frozen Chicken Breasts you get more for your money and it tastes good..👍👍👍
