Plain flour, 4oz of lard, 4oz butter. Makes 14 pasties. Keep a larder so when offers come you buy in bulk. Longterm savings. I know it sounds difficult but it really isn’t. All cakes can be made too. 👍👍👍💗💗
I personally do like the come shop with me as you get to see prices but it’s doing what’s best for you. I have shopped online and I still do sometimes mostly for a big shop but I have been going to the supermarket to Lidls to do a food shop as I like to change it up a bit. I loved this xx
I started watching your channel specifically because of the grocery hauls before the pandemic. I love seeing the inside of stores and supermarkets from around the world and the different brands and forms of products. Food is so much cheaper in the UK than in the US. I thought it never got cold enough in the UK to need deicer.I don't want it to cost you a lot of money for a video, though. Much love!
I think it would be fun if you got some of the Aldi brand of biscuits and candy and do a taste test! Are they as good as the name brand? Was fun to see you shop at Aldi! I like shopping there in America!
Hello and I hope you have had a lovely day! Your come shop of me videos are one of my favourites (B&M and Primark mostly as of yet) and I'm glad to see this theme expand. Especially since I grew up my whole life in the UK and have since moved away, so seeing what is available is also nostalgic for me, on top of the curiosity to simply see how these shops have changed, in terms of new products etc.
Just an addition > The cheaper spaghetti's are usually super-heated to dry faster, some people may have increased problems digesting this. You can know this if they are quite dark in colour as opposed to a pale cream colour (does not apply if they contain eggs since the yolk will also make it darker naturally).
I shop between aldi and tesco. The packet rice's are nice, jar curries with spices, sausages, frubes (own version) and fromage frais which you were looking out. Liked most things from Aldi we've tried. If trying for the first time I tend to try 1 pack first. Love the reed diffusers and candles great value ❤

If you did not want to do the come shop with me every week. Aldi do click and collect. That could save you the time instead of going and narrating everything in the supermarket. I know you would still have to go and pick up the grocery shopping but that way you also try different foods as well. Maybe worth looking at
