I took the Sure Fit seminar several years ago from Glenda. When I want to make a pair of pants, skirt or top that actually fit the Sure Fit patterns are what I always go to, they are a perfect and I know I will LOVE the results.
Thank you for posting this. This is the first time I’ve been told where to measure other than the “fullest part” which unfortunately for people like me is not where the hip falls on most patterns. Also, I can’t walk around with elastic on my waist or it will roll up to my bra line. Is there an alternative for people built like an egg with legs? Oddly enough when I buy a pair of pants that sits at my waist they don’t slide up and give me a wedgie, but any sort of belt that’s not weighed down by pants (and skirts that don’t have enough weight) absolutely will. Just something to consider for your apple shaped clients!
I am just starting to learn and i browsed upon your channel... it is very detailed ... but i am still a bit apprehensive to draw and cut and sew... i dont have a degree in sewing and i dobt know what materials to get... but i love and need to get myself sewing me a dress or my love ones... i am thinking it is late for me since im in my 50s LOL... and yet i subscribed 😀
I signed up for the presentation on March 20 but I haven't got the kit - should I not be getting a pattern at least so I can get some use out of my $20?
