Sooo a bit of lore for context:
In the first scene there are lux and her brother garen, the guy with a big sword, they are part of the royal family of a country named Demacia, that has an strict anti-magic policy. The guy attacking them with the chains is Sylas, he was a prisioner for many years in demacia for using magic, and has now escaped and rebelling against the opression. And I dont know exactly where Lux stands in this situation, since she uses magic, I dont know if she hides the fact that she is magic or if they alloe it just because she is royalty, you know. Oh, the big stone guy in the end, is also another champion you can play, he is Galio, a big anti magic tank gargoyle basically.
The next scene is with Ezreal, the blond guy, he is a demacian explorer, he travels around Runeterra (the world where LoL exists) collecting rare artifacts, as the one in the video. The other girl is Kai'sa, yes the same in the KDA group, that is her original model. Her story is that when she was a kid she fell in the "void" which is a different dimension in LoL with a lot of monsters, almost like aliens. There she formed in a symbiotic suit with another creature she fought, hence the purple suit and launchers on her back, her lore is all about evolution and adaptation. I guess she was there in the video just to kill some void creatures that appeared.
Anyway, moving on. The third and final scene, is with Vi (the big hands lady) and Caitlyn (the sheriff with the sniper). They are part of the police force of Piltover, a city that is all about progress and development. They are trying to stop those minions releasing a dangerous prisioner, Urgot, also another champion that you can play in the game. He is from the neighbor city Zaun, a steampunk like enviroment, clouded by the great Piltover.
Thats what I know about it. I am sure more people can add to that, or even explain it better hahah
about the situation with Lux and etc,Yes she's can use magic because she's like a rich girl,but Sylas,on the other hand,the most unfortuned men born with magic powers in Demacia and poor who's been prisioned by that,so they had no mercy on the guy

@@luizamartins3622 Lux actually goes to great lengths to hide her magic, to the point that she doesn't develop it to even a fraction of what it could be. Her Elementalist skin is supposed to represent what she could be if she was given the opportunity to truly study magic and allow her power to grow. This is why she doesn't fight in the beginning of the battle. However, her brother and the particular group of soldiers she was with in this video are extremely loyal to the royal family, personally, and not necessarily to the country as a whole. That's why they didn't immediately turn on her as if she were an enemy, like any other Demacian soldier would have.
Characters in the video in order of appearance and a little bit about them:
1. Garen: The guy in armor with the sword, he's Lux's brother. He is sworn to protect Demacia from mages (magic users).
2. Lux: The girl with the staff, Garen's sister. She was born with magic and for most of her life she tried to hide it as her country is extremely against mages.
3. Ezreal: The blond guy that can blink forward and that stole the item. He is a treasure hunter that wields his magic gauntlet to fight.
4. Sylas: The muscular guy with chains. He started a rebellion in Demacia's mage prison after Lux accidentally gave him power to break out. He channels magic through his anti-magic chains. He can take the magic of others as well.
5. Caitlyn: The sniper woman. She is a police officer in the technological society of Piltover.
6. Vi: The pink-haired women with the big gauntlets. She is also a police officer in Piltover.
7. Kai'Sa: The woman with the blasters that shoot purple blasts, you know her from her alternate universe K/DA skin. She was born in a world called the void and she escaped it.
8. Urgot: The man that is bound to his shotgun legs, you referred to him as “the big boss”. He uses his machinery to execute people in Zaun (At least I think, I don’t know much about him.)
9. Galio: The big “god” that came towards the end. He is a colossus that was created to crush mages for Demacia, as his body is made of an anti-magic material called petricite.

yesss, i have been waiting for this long enough.
Lux lives in Demacia, and people who do magic are pretty much shunned and treated terribly. Even though she is part of the royal family, she also is able to wield magic. The person thats invading Demacia is actually Sylas, who is a mage, and is proud of it, and wants to unite fellow mages against Demacia; however to do this he betrayed Lux. Garen is the one Lux defended, and is her brother. The big buff 'God' is Galio, a being created by Demacia who is made of Petricite, which is an anti magic material that all of demacia uses to shackle down mages.
In the scene with the sniper lady, her name is Caitlyn, and her partner is Vi. They're the Sheriff (sniper) and the Enforcer of a town called Piltover. They're battling Urgot, who hails from Zaun, which is like a rival city, and Urgot is a big bad dude.
The scene with Ezreal is him trying to get treasure and get out, thats what he does. He looks for treasure, sells them to museums, uses a magical gauntlet. Kai'sa i dont really know why she's there but yeah she's the same Kai'sa from KDA. They're just fighting together to get the heck out.
Lux didn't do much in the beginning because her country (called Demacia) banned magic and shuns away mages (which Lux is), she is also afraid of her powers because it is so immense and she doesn't know how to control it (also cant legally practice how to because it is not allowed in Demacia). The armored swordsman protecting her is her brother, Garen. He was fighting Sylas, an S tier prisoner imprisoned for being a mage himself.
The "God" that came down is named Galio. He is attracted to wherever there is a strong presence of magic, which is when Lux unleashed hers and that called Galio.
Other blonde dude is Ezreal (an explorer, time traveller), who was fighting alongside Kai'Sa (Original lore is she is from the void, alternate lore is KDA Kai'Sa which you know)
Fist lady is Vi, part of the Piltover police force fighting alongside Caitlyn, another officer who is a sniper.

"Why she didn't use her power from the begin?"
So, its a question that everyone that don't know the lore in the game ask. I did it too (I started playing it after watching this videos). Here is the answer:
Her name is Lux, she is a sorcerer and this big guy is Garen, her brother. They are both from a kingdom named Demacia (the place they are trying to protect). The thing is, sorcery is forbidden in this kingdom and the king send all mages to the prision. The guy invading (the one with chains) is Silas, a rebel mage that escaped from prision and wants to free all other mages from Demacia's oppression.
Lux didn't use her power from the begin because she hides her power to avoid prision and she didn't have a scepter to channel it. Note that a mage invader let a scepter falls near her and thats when she decides to take action.
The giant colossus that comes flying from the sky is Galius. A celestial that Silas wanted to meet to become more powerful. Most demacians believes that Galius (like other celestials such as the sisters Morgana and Kayle) is just a legend, but Lux knows him.
the big dude returning to Lux was Garen and the dude who was attacking them with the chains was Sylas, the huge statue looking god is Galio
the female sniper was Caitlyn and the girl with gloves was Vi, the big green dude that came out if the huge tube was Urgot
the guy who stole treasure and was running away was Ezreal and the purple girl that saved him with rocket looking wings was actually Kai'Sa who's also a part of K/DA (not in this universe, K/DA is an alternate universe)

That were defending is Lux, her brother Garen, Galio and Sylas
That 4 Champs came from Demacia, region where magic is forbidden and mages are imprisoned.
Lux is a mage but almost nobody knows that she's from crownguard family and she would be imprisoned like other mages too when she would reveal that she has powers.
Garen is her brother and King's guard that protects his country.
Galio is giant monument built from material that sucks magic.
Sylas is mage that find out how to use magic sucked by chains made from same material what's galio is made of. He's prisoner that wants same rules for mages like for non mages.
Next scene is that in steampunk/cyberpunk style.

They're both Police Officer of Piltover the high tech city.
Urgot is that big Beefy dude. He's very dangerous human and he has his own cult, he's like a god for that intruders.
Third ones is in a ruin there's 2 champs
Ezreal (blond haired guy) he's an archeologist, tomb rider like his parents.
Kai'sa (Purple one lady) she's a girl lost in the void, where she had to fight monsters and one of their dead body had connected to her body and become part of her and she's guarding other people to don't share her fate.

The reason that ur homegirl didnt save the day straight away is, that in Damacia, where she and Garen are from, magic is forbidden. Sylas (the guy u kept calling Darius) is a rogue mage and a prisoner in Damacia. Which is why is fighting with the chains he was bound with. He can also steal his opponents power with magic, which is why u can see him having a glowy sword in one scene, that looks like Garens.
Just to clear up that 1 part of the video for u ;)

The girl in purple is actually the normal League world version of Kai'sa who you know from KDA. In the More Video shes the one with black hair in a long ponytail. The crystal-like wings she has is the same as those cannon looking things in this video. If you recall in the PopStars video there is a moment where she shoots out a barrage of beams in there too, as well as in the live performance. I think it was during the bridge of the song, not sure.

If you want to know more about who Darius is, watch Tales of Runeterra: Noxus | “After Victory”. If you wanna know more about Akali (her role in the main LoL universe, not K/DA) watch Tales of Runeterra: Ionia | “The Lesson”. They are short cinematics that give you a feel for the different nations/regions and the type of characters that come from them.
For more Lux action, there is a cinematic called "The Light Within" that's focused solely on her.
Also, the guy that Lux (and Garen, the big guy with shoulder pads, Lux's big brother) was fighting is Sylas, not Darius. Sylas is a really interesting character, too, and isn't a villain like this cinematic makes him out to be. Actually, Lux doesn't want to fight him at all, and cares about him very deeply. There is a comic made by Marvel that is all about Lux, Sylas, and the turmoil happening in their country, Demacia- it's short yet fantastic read.
Happens that in Demacia the magic is against the law, that's why she hesitated, but, Garen (the guy who was f*ucked up is her brother) she just had to save him despite the crime of using magic in Demacian territory
lux is demacian and in demacia magic is forbidden. but she is magician and she have been keeping it as a secret until the war in cinematic. thats why she waited that much.
One thing that I don't think was mentioned by other people yet. The song here is a remix/orchestral version of Warriors by Imagine Dragons which was used for the League of Legends World Championships back in 2014.

Pink hair is Vi, she is the girlfriend of Caitlin, the sniper. Ezreal (blond) and Kai'sa (brown hair) is fighting with mini demons. Guy with chains is Sylas, Lux you knows and Garen is the man with sword.
Well, Lux didn't call the giant because everyone on her side is completely anti magic, she is from Demacia, a place that was built hating mages and magic because of a war that caused the deatruction of the land. The big guy with the sword is her brother Garen, him and her aunt Tianna, who is chief of the mage hunters protect Lux and help to keep her powers hidden. There is a lot of history with magic in Demacia and Sylas the guy with the shackles, he's the mage leader of the revolution against demacia, hence why theyre all fighting there....also he l's only there because he manipulated Lux to help him escape the prison.
to let you know this is also a "lore" video. everything here makes sense in the main LoL world (remember there are many universes in LoL). i would like to tell you all thats here but its alot and two i dont think i could explain it well (im just not good at it).

The reason Lux didn't act right away is that in her country, they don't like mages to the point where they will secretly drug and lock them up. She only recently came out as a mage to her brother Garen (the big sword guy in the video). Sylas (guy with the chains) escaped north from the mage racist country, Demacia, after starting a failed mage rebellion.
I hope you read this, because I try to explain the lore as simple for a beginner as possible.
1 Scene: Demacia/Freljord
Demacia is a Kingdom that hates magic, they hunt them down, enprison them or kill them. Lux and Garan are Siblings and the children of a big named Family, the Crownguards, their aunt Tianna is one of the biggest Generals in Demacia. Lux lives in fear that her People mind find out about her ability to use magic. Sylas (their enemy in this Video) was imprisoned in Demacia, Lux visited him often and talked to him and he wanted her to help him to change Demacia so that mages can live happy in Demacia without fear. At the beginning Lux wanted to help him, but she also feared that the Demacian couldn´t understand the mages. She wasn´t sure what to do, but she helped Sylas to escape. He was hunted but could flee to Freljord, there he started a rebellion against Demacia and tries now to fight Demacia. Lux wants mages to be free, but she don´t wants Demacia to fall, she sees the lives of the Demacian as more important. The big thing at the end is Galia, a Demacian magical Creater created by Demacia that senses strong magic. Lux send her Magic into the air because she didn´t want to attack Sylas but also didn´t want him to kill her brother.
2 Scene: Piltover/Zaun
Piltover and Zaun are to big independent Cities, but Piltover is much better structured, they have a strong police and rich people while Zaun is more like a underground city, because Piltover takes all the ressources and they don´t care for nature or other cities. That´s why Zaun is now under permanent air problems. So people in Zaun started to rebel against Piltover Aristocrats and Police. Caitlynn(Sniper) and Vi(Big glove Woman) are Piltover police and the other guys are Zaun People. While the police in Piltover is doing shady stuff, Caitlynn and Vi just want to protect the city they grew up in, but Zaun people also try to protect their city and they use violance if needed. Zaun is a really bad place because people that could left the city so it is becoming more and more a place in which poor are abused by criminals with power. Those criminals now see their chance in taking over Piltover and there is the problem.
3 Scene: Most likely Shurima could be Acathia/ The Void
The Void is like another dimension kinda like space stuff and they have a portal near shurima. In the Void live many creatures and they try to destroy Runeterra, Shurima and Acathia fight often. Here Ezreal was searching in runes for a crystal and got attacked by Void creatures that most likely killed whatever people lived there before. Kai´sa helps him to escape. Kai´sa was left in the Void for a long time, but she found a way to live in the Void and even how to escape it, by making a suit out of Void creatures she killed. For now she just wants to fight the Void from destroying Runeterra

the guy that got beaten up was Lux brother, Garen. They both come from a place, Demacia, where magic is super duper prohibited. Lux always had powers but had to hide it or else she would go to jail and Garen would lose his high position in the army. I am guessing that is why it took her soooo damn long. Garen kinda knows she knows magic, but its like he prentends not to, i think

Go for Awaken, the whole "Lux not helping thing", yea, us lol players thought so too. The purple girl is Kaisa, from KDA. The guy you called Darius is Sylas, the girl you called Akali is Vi and the sniper is Caitlyn. Try Awaken next, there you will find other characters, like Draven, Darius younger brother, and Akali. Also maybe try some star guardian cinematic to see a different type of Ahri XDD.
lore wise lux has to hide her magic even tho shes more or less nobility where they come from because mages are persercuted and imprisoned, the guy in the videos in the chains is actually a mage who was imprisoned where they come from * a place called demacia * who ended up escaping and this is some time after he escaped lore wise, his name is Sylas

Garen is Lux's brother who is basically a big racist against mages (which is what Lux is, hence why she didn't do anything until things were getting ugly).

In Lux's Kingdom, Demacia, mages are killed with a special poison, so Lux decided to hide until now.
Lux did not have her staff so she could not do anything at the beginning but an enemy had it lost from his hand and Lux was able to get it.

Now, you have to react to Awaken of League Of Legends. All these cinematics have different storylines of some characters from the game and different multiverse as an example KDA is one universe, or there is another universe called star guardians.
