Do you have the right end of the BOV connected to the charge tube? It could be in the wrong way maybe? If you have a Instagram, shoot me a message on there if you can take a picture of how yours is set up and I could probably help more!
It really depends on what type of riding you do and what your goals are. I personally love it and use the modes all of the time, when we were in Colorado on the back roads where it wasn’t very rocky we would use comfort and it would soak up anything and give an awesome ride. When I ride harder I bump it up to sport or form to get a little more clearance and better bottom out resistance. The oh shit button has saved me several times also. With that said, properly set up non dynamic shocks can provide similar results but I like being able to switch on the fly
They are from Midwest dirt fiend. I’m actually going to be getting rid of these soon but they have been amazing! I need something that will kick out wider, going with a long travel kit soon
Which exhaust are you comparing to the desert series? If your talking the full 3” exhaust with the muffler I would say It depends on how/where you ride. If you only race and sound doesn’t matter, I’m going desert series just because of the simplicity and durability of it. I like the full 3” better because it’s not as loud for just basic trail riding. It’s still louder than stock but it’s obviously not straight piped lol. The video I’m about to release is a new e-valve exhaust and I think that’s the best of both worlds if you are just a recreational rider. Loud when you want, quiet when you want. All in all, desert series is only for racing in my opinion, if you go places like Colorado I bet they would pull you over for the sound.
Do you know what spring yours has in it? I know depending on the spring stiffness it will change the sound. Elevation also really changes it. When we went to Colorado, it was very hard to even get the blow off valve to make any noise because the turbo didn’t make as much boost so it was more of a pshhh noise not the high pitch noise you hear some times. But in Kansas it always makes the sound. I did have a stiffer spring in it for a while and it cuts back on the high pitch noise
@@ethanbrewer7669 interesting, and you for sure have it hooked up correctly? If the wrong BOV port is hooked up to the charge tube it won’t work right and that could be the problem
@@ethanbrewer7669 damn, as long as it’s all hooked up right it shouldn’t be a big deal. As long as it’s opening when you let off the gas after a pull or hitting the gas you should be fine. If you start to have any issues I would maybe take the BOV apart and maybe use the oil/grease they send you and make sure it’s lubed up good and if it still has issues definitely call RPM and ask for Jason. He will get you hooked up!
It doesn’t really change sound as much as change when the valve opens. The stiffest spring didn’t even let the valve open on mine so I had to keep the medium one in it. There might be a few valves out there that will change sound when you adjust them but I’m not sure. For the money RPM isn’t a bad upgrade from stock but there are things I would’ve done differently.
Eh through talking with him and seeing all the versions they machined and tested that didn’t work perfectly so they started over tells me a different story. I know other manufactures have China brands you can find on Amazon and they throw their label on it but I’m very convinced RPM doesn’t do that.
Damn man how much boost does your baby make? Lol, it is a small turbo so it’s not going to be insane. Might be different when you start pushing more power and a good tune in it though.
What are your thoughts on the new RPM blow off valve?
Do you have link to get it
@@IvanGarcia-pl1go yeah it’s in the description of the video. You can use the code “Schmidty” and you’ll get 5% off!
Nice vidoe just ordered one for my 2023 pro xp can’t wait.. used your code
Hell yeah you’ll like it. This new version is really nice, you can’t really go wrong with it!

How did you get yours to fit, the v2 is hitting on top of the heat shield. I have it at angle and it’s not sounding correctly.

Is dynamix worth it?

I’d imagine that spring stiffness is for ppl running more boost than stock
I believe that’s correct. At this level I don’t think the spring will make much of a difference mainly sound.
Where did the tree kickers come from?

Do you feel like it's better than the desert pipe? If so why?

Put mine on today but it doesnt make the sound in the video. It goes pssshhh no high pitch noise

Yes sir the port that is on the bottom when vertical is in the charge tube and the one on the side has the filter.

All my springs sound the same, so that was a huge waste of money lmfao
