The model took to Instagram after asking fellow 'care partners' to send her photos of 'something beautiful' in their otherwise 'hard, stressful' days. As a person who was a carer for his mother, who had vascular dementia and frontotemporal dementia ,life is very, very difficult with people with with dementia,my heart felt best wishes go to Bruce,his wife, and family,I know what they are going through

I was a caregiver to my husband. He didn’t have dementia but he suffered from other bad health issues. I had to sign papers to take him off a ventilator. Prayers for this family. I know how hard this was being a caretaker for a family member that had a severe health issue. God bless this family. 💝💝

You have to take some time to just be able to go out and be normal. If your falling apart, you can’t give Bruce the strength he needs from you. Do what you need to do. I cared for my terminally ill mom. With four other siblings i was the only one free enough to be the full time, 24/7 family member that could scarifice for our mothers care. I will never regret that i was there for every moment. Miss you mom, everyday. ❤
My husband of 27 years has dementia with lewy bodies. It's so hard sometimes, most times. We're in stage 6 now. I really can't get out of our house, and he is not really able to go much. I'm not really ok, but my husband needs me, and I'll continue to not be really ok until he no longer needs me because I love him. ❤❤❤

I understand, i took care of my mother in my home for 13 years alone, God called my mom home 1/09/2022, and now i have my adult son who is dealing with mental illness its not east at all

His ex wife, current wife & their daughters. All 5 of his daughters....
They are doing a great job taking care of Bruce. No one can can fault any of them. They all love him deeply & that's all that matters.

I was my moms caregiver/ caretaker.
Her dementia was recognized at age 73.
She passed away at the age of 84 .
Just a little bit after her birthday.
Mom was born June 17, 1935.
She passed away on July 26th,2019.😢

I took care of my mom too. Sure do miss her. I didn’t do it nearly that long but I’d do it again ten times. She was the best mother anyone could ask for. And then she became my best friend

I took care of my mother when she was diagnosed with Dementia. I remember the exact moment when she no longer recognized me...I really think that this disease if harder on the caregiver than the patient because after a point, the patient doesn't realize what had gone on...

Frontal temporal dementia seems similar to traumatic encephalopathy syndrome which is diagnosed as chronic traumatic encephalopathy after death. Did Bruce Willis suffer from a head injury at any time?

I know exactly what you mean and what you are going through, my husband had the exact same problem, fortunately for him when he crashed beginning of his 72nd birthday celebration, the very day, we had such a great first part of the day and the year and a half before his birthday, but two months later he was gone. He had this condition for years, since 2007, but no vet doctor would scan his brain they just summed it up as, "oh you are just getting to the age where we all experience this", bullshit! I knew when he returned from a year and a half in Afghanistan tour something seriously was wrong. My husband was in denial but in his final days he said, "you were right", and I resent the military for excusing serious conditions as oh you are just getting older and not take CARE WITH DIAGNOSING serious conditions. The VA is worthless! God bless you and Bruce! At least you have a village, I did not, just me.
VA did nothing for my father either. He went to the Aleutian islands and did ground battle during World War II. They gave him a monthly pittance for a while when he became unwell but soon changed their minds and said he was not entitled to anything at all an made him pay it all back. Now they have the nerve to ask us for donations. You should sue them for what they did to your husband!!

There is no doubt you and the entire family are in so much pain and truthfully you don’t have to explain this to anyone. I truly don’t know how I would handle this. It won’t be easy but you will do it anyway. I wish you, the kids and Demi more strength to get through this (⬆️unintentional ⤴️)

She has it better than most on a daily basis as far as getting a mental health break. Does she not realize this? I've had 2 members of my family die from Alzheimer's and their was no financial support for a private nurse... No offense. I hope she's not offended because she has to honor her marriage vows because she's young, or something. She's offending me. She needs to move out of the house since she's crying out on social media. She is is married to him which makes "her " his direct caregiver.Not his exwife and the children they had together before Emma.Whether she post to much about how this all affects her (in your opinion) or not,should not minimize her feelings in watching someone she loves slowly mentally deteriorate.I face that while visiting my 91 year old father in his awesome care facility, who's health is deteriorating physically more so than mentally. It is never a good thing to watch a loved one deteriorate before your eyes.It's very evident that Emna loves Bruce and their children dearly.Hence why,the whole thing is affecting her so sadly.Has nothing to do with the age difference between her and Bruce as this thread so tone deafly wants to put it.
