I tried single-segment speedrun but there is some randomness in the game (behavior of the green slime) so I would need better reflexes and a great deal of luck to pass it in one run. It is still possible though.
I used to do this but with Shadow Knights. A friend and I liked to see who finished it in the shortest time. Fun times!

They are invincible, but they also move slowly so you just avoid them and run away.
