Quentin Tarantino listed Team America in his top 10 favorite films of all time. That says a lot. If people can just get past the fact that it’s puppets and watch it for the masterpiece that it is, the world would be a better place
Kind of ironic considering what he said about hollywood being behind the times and often incorrect about progress and out of touch with the real world.
@@CreatureFlicks573Nah the focus of ManBearPig was more about how they thought Al Gore was being egotistical and just using the climate change documentary to advance his own political career. Even in the season 22 follow up where they admit climate change is real, they still double down on portraying Al Gore in that way.
drumeff Should've figured that, was probably drunk when I wrote that. My bad lol - and for whatever reason, the notification didn't come up til now, more than a year later
South Park to me died in the late 90's early 2000's, it had that feel to it that could only work back then. So the original episodes are the only ones i'd watch. I just find the 90's era jokes working better and the early 2000's pop culture. I heard Jonas Brothers, Chocolate Rain, World of Warcraft and Jewdie Pie are the things they are referencing in the new episodes, fuck that shit.
Yeah i know what you mean, and also a lot of the old episodes had such insane plotlines like the wacky molestation adventure, the show kinda came to a point where it just felt so predictable like u know theyre just gonna rip on whatever is on the news. i miss those insane hyper plotlines with the rough animations.
That feel that you're talking about is just the topics you're familiar with. The shows been working just fine for 20 years, the numbers don't lie dude. I can understand you saying that you're only able to enjoy cultural satire of a certain era, but let's not blame the show for your preference.
@@aPumpkn. No the show plots have completely changed. They use to be original and had nothing to do with what was going on in the real world. South park was its own original world with original plots. Now its just current pop culture parodies.
The last episodes have been really funny though. They made “non topical” stuff like Japanese toilets and dickinballs… maybe a comment on the modern world in them, but the 90’s episodes were also topical to the times. I have a problem following them due to not knowing what drove them back then, thinking it’s just psychedelic, when it’s just a parody of some 90’s thing. The current seasons really hit the head with a mix of topical stuff and timeless kid stuff.
matt has the most contagious smile ever, idk what it is
I agree I think it’s his teeth gap.
I don't want to sound like a queer or nothin, but Matt Stone has a beautiful smile.
Watching Matt doing the introduction a "little gayer" is hilarious.
Matt Stone looks about the least hostile person I've ever seen
Brandon Martin where did he say that?
leftyfourguns he said it in 6 days to air
even matt himself said that he was more of the rougher of the two in both terms of writing and business
Psychotic observation
@@matty6878 sometimes trey seems awkward and a douche more than matt in interviews.
watching matt explain the “up and over” pose is the funniest thing i’ve seen in months.
Lloyd Kaufman is such a cool and funny dude so glad I got to meet him. Thanks for the upload!
Team America was the hardest thing he has ever done, but damn it was worth it. Funniest film of all time.

I saw that. And i agree wholeheartedly. Trey Parker and Matt Stone are national gems.@@TillURide420
matt is my hero. a perfect example of the cool and charasmatic math nerd with an insanely awesome sense of humor.
"You can either look smart or be smart but its really hard to be both." - Matt Stone on Hollywood Intelligence.
THANK YOU SO MUCH I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO REUPLOAD THIS
thanks for this interview!
Cannibal! The Musical has been my favorite movie for like, over 20 years.
I was thinking the same thing about "Trey and Matt", but then I did a google search and "Matt and Trey" is actually more common.
He looks so tired 😂
Jesus Christ the auto-exposure is killing me
Great interview. Thanks for uploading this.
"trey parker and matt stone" 424000 hits
"matt stone and trey parker" 2000000 hits
12:50 I totally lost it there, "we are really fucked" haha you can tell he means it.
My pleasure! The Trey interview is already available here, search Trey Parker Lloyd Kaufman (by tromajames).
Krull and Beastmaster are great
The episode they were struggling to come up with turned out to be ManBearPig. Awesome

Why the fuck am I watching a guy hold a video camera directly in front of Matt's face? They should have put his damn camera on a stand.
Thats just how that guy does his interviews 🤷
Make your own damn interview 😉
awesome!
I think it's usually either "Matt and Trey" or "Trey Parker and Matt Stone." That just sounds right.

2 Jews with 2 camera's. Great show!
Matt is an atheist
It's not called "Up and over " it's called Froggy style
Oh, I didn't know it's been up before. Hopefully this one won't get deleted.
They should do a parody of Frank fritz and Mike wolf the two guys from American pickers
same here. many, many thanks. do you have the interview he did with Trey?
Just love how he is like make it gayer
actually people say 'MT and TP' much more often than 'TP and MS'. not that that matters. stupid useless question
drumeff MT?
FreshOuttttttt MS i meant, typo
