I have personally seen Sunidhi Chauhan doing this. She literally treated her assistant like a maid. First her assistant got her a cup of coffee and then Sunidhi yelled at her because her baby was crying. I failed to understand that how come Sunidhi’s baby is assistant’s responsibility!!

This is just Indian thing I guess. I have worked in many multinational companies. When you work in a Indian company many engineers expect office boy to bring tea etc.. on the other hand People from Europe and America do it by themselves. Even a project manager goes to the kitchen make his own coffee.

It has to do with the population I guess.you see Europe nd America are so low in density that they all have to do their thing by themselves,if they go looking for some helper then they will charge so high that you'll do it all by yourself eventually.Then this becomes the mentality even if you go to other countries.See the servant mentality cames from europe only and they had to get rid of it due to their MAJBURI

I agree to this completely, one of my friend who is a crew in a airline once told me one of the famous actor would give her (breakfast/lunch) order to her assistant sitting in economy. Assistant would always had to walk to 1st class check with this A lister actor then go and inform the crew member about what that actor would like to have. It is so childish.

Acting is a hard job, if u see all of it lies in the way the actor delivers the dialogue, his body language etc, actors basically breath life into the script by embodying a character fully
@@siddesh5111 it is indeed a tough job. But i just meant that people keep fighting over their favourites on the internet saying this film was successful due to him/her. But they don't acknowledge that actor is just a part of the process and that too is replaceable one to an extent

I need to tell u media ko bulane Wale actor hi hote hai. Woh khud hi kehte hai hum airport aane Wale hai ya land karne Wale hai. Woh news me rehna chahte hai. Isliye. One of my close relative is in this business. She tells me this. I was shocked to hear. Mujhe yakin hi nahi hua than kofee with Karan pe Sonam ka episode dekha usme yeh pakka hua.
Have you seen them standing in the queue at the airport or voting booth ? Do they work for people welfare to expect such treatment?

My experience being NRI over 50 years and at the age of 65 got bored at home so did a part time job at post office . I have seen young people coming from India does not know where to write address on envelope and where to put stamp. When I asked and answer was we have people who does all this for us.😮

When we have National Service (compulsory military service for men) when one reaches 18 years...every one is brought down to earth..rich kids or poor kids, all have to work hard and and clean their bunk and toilets!!...And to a standard of cleanliness that would make a 5 star hotel look dirty!!...and to do things that is for the common good ..sacrifice etc..Of course fundamentally it's different...actors and celebrities think they can spend their time better by letting others do things for them..and I remember a fellow soldier's comment ...one who doe his own work has "Self Respect"..those who ask others donthings for them get " cup of coffee" which might have been spit on!!
So respect others and respect one self by doing things like washing up after yourself...Men or Women ..iy does not matter ...one must be able do things for themselves..Wash up after yourself!!!

I worked at the Kolkata airport and I was someone who would have to "assist" celebrities and businessmen like this. They would be treated like kings and queens with 4 handymen holding their luggages and so on. My responsibility was to take care of their each and every need so that they get faster and easier services. The airports pamper them so much.

Usually people who say this stuff are the people who have enough money to call themselves wealthy but can’t hire 24x7 assistants as they’re not so sure if they’ll STAY wealthy forever.
That’s why they find it dangerous - coz it’s a risky thing to do - to develop such dependence and one day find yourself not able to afford the assistant which you desperately need at that point.

Mam, But it's fine if they ask their assistant to do it. They must have explained the JD to the assistant before joining, the assistant accepted the JD, the actress /actor are paying the assistant well, the actress actor definitely have a high profile, busy schedule, a family life, and perhaps they can afford to keep their assistant for each and every work. So if both the assistant and the Boss have mutually agreed I don't think they should be a problem.
