I check my silver with a Neodymium magnet, weighing, and using an App on my phone that checks the pinging sound. I like the magnet test the best, as its easy to carry and is a very quick way to check. Fortunately I've only got burned once. I didn't do my due diligence on an item that said it was silver, but I didn't check google on that and bought with only 15 seconds left in the auction. Six months later (this was in my early days of stacking) I did some checking and found out it wasn't silver. Out 25 bucks...like you said, not bad cost on education

Hi Stax! This is my second reply. I sent the first one on Monday evening, don't know what happened to it. Thanks for watching the video and for your comments. I learned a new word from you. A Neodymium magnet, and I did not know what it was untill you introduced me to it. Although I used a magnet stone I bought from a stone store to use on the fake coins in the video. When I look at those counterfeit CC Morgan Dollars and I wish they were real because that year has valuable coins. Anyway I still learned a valuable lesson about collecting coins. (Take Precautions) when buying.

@@seniorsperspectivewithatwist Thanks Harry for taking the time to reply again. Thankfully Neodymium magnets are also known as Rare Earth magnets.
I learned early on about the Fear of Missing Out (FOMO),,, it is an expensive human emotion! But who doesn't want a great deal?
