I remember as a kid I loved these ghostly places like the one at 02:30 I felt like I was entering a alternate version of reality where strange things can happen XD
@@alanjamesh.zamorano1677 I can't agree more, most of them were so well hidden behind a door that look part of the scenery. And then often huge with not a single soul present.
One of my favourite games on the original Xbox. Each of the 3 cities had a totally different vibe and it was fun just exploring the areas while swapping cars along the way.
driv3r is a game that deserved a remake, it had many limitations such as the lack of post-zero content, limited spawn of police cars (the game could only feature a maximum of 5 police cars), lack of police helicopters, police boats, swat teams, etc. in addition the game didn't have a timecycle and was always at the same time late at night, etc. If a remake were made today with more things, more details, corrections, etc. it would definitely be a Game, but in the hands of Ubisoft I believe this game would remain in the fridge forever.
After recovering from a 6 month bout of depression, when this came out in june 04, my god i played it to death! I was only 18 and it meant the world to me, it just felt like everything fell into place. I didn't even notice its faults on a 21inch crt haha
That's I've been saying since I first played it. Also the vehicle destruction was something rarely seen back then. I fondly remember crashing a bike in the game repeatedly until the front wheel broke. That blew my mind. Many aspects of the game felt rushed, but when it came to anything related to vehicle physics and driving that's something that they definitely had fully mastered back then.

Just start listening to that main menu screen music and immediately missed this game.
Great driving skills!
This is like a 70's car chase lol. Loved this game as a kid
Driver franchise its inspired on the 70s-80s cop chase films.

True. Driver 3 building interiors had backroom vibes before that was a thing.

I remember an specific building interior in the Nice map that was some kind of monastery or tower. Very eeriey.

Hahhaha at 2:40 that guy had a shitty day.
I like the shadows and color correction in this game.
when I was a kid, I played this, very nostalgic...
It impresses me that Driver 3's vehicles have very realistic physics for a sixth-generation console game
Driv3r physics still acceptable in 2023 comparable to GTA;V the sense of weight and turn are balanced
