Can I praise myself using this words....
      I'm Excellent.
      I'm talented
      I'm brilliant
      I'm creative.
Are those ok ? Or only specific words and not those I mentioned.
I never felt that way. No one ever told me I'm excellent,I'm talented, brilliant or creative that's why I'm really curious if it's proper if I say those words....
I started praising myself using those words but Im still curious if that's proper..
I deadly need your response... Thanks in advance.
      God bless

Sometimes I'm socially awkward, sometimes I'm funny, sometimes I'm brilliant, sometimes I have a "dumb" moment; AND THAT'S OKAY. I'm a good person. Leading by example, and reaching out to others as I go. I think that's pretty great. :)

Being critical and self aware of yourself is a good thing. It helps you change and grow in a positive way. Being overly critical can be harmful, but the way you're talking is a harmful, stupid way of looking at it. Scammer

    • @jay.jay.
      @jay.jay. 4 роки тому +2

Yes, but she also has mentioned in a video the value of constructive criticism. What she is saying here you have misunderstood.
Talking negatively to yourself will not do any good to you. I have been both(negative and positive) and I have seen positive changes when being kind, supportive , saying uplifting words to myself. Talking negatively to me had made me just almost depressed and fear to face the outside world.

what I like so much about Marisa's talks is that it brings to your mind, the idea that you have choices of train of thoughts. so your destination depends on which direction you take. The choice is always ours. Silence your inner critic - the world becomes better afterwards. Bless you Marisa.

Marisa makes so much sense. I have been following her for the last two years or more and applied many of her concepts. Lately, I have realised I have gone back to whom I was long time ago, a carefree, awesome woman. I can stand on my own two feet and I can stand my ground in a confident, non aggressive way. I found my voice and my creativity back. It took a while to understand and apply the “I am enough “ but once I did, I never looked back. Marisa is loved by thousands because she is humble and she will work for royalty and “ordinary” people like us. I love her confidence in what she does. Thank you Marisa.

    Much thank for your insight.
Recently, my mind tricks me to criticize all my past decision, this is not helpful at all. I got plateau with my progress when my inner state very very criticize, hammering me, and was shutdown immediate my logical thinking. Makes me depress and hate my self.
When my inner state felling in love with my self. My inner critic became silent, it's helpful to make me progress forward.
Naturally im move forward easily when feeling better and love with myself because l just need little energy to pushing better my self.

This is excellent. Thankyou. My good close friend David who died a few years back always used to say, "I love myself no matter what." David became very ill with a type of epilepsy that damaged his brain every time had had a fit but had a fantastic personality & would go out into the street & get into conversation with strangers & have them in fits of laughter, even though he was so ill.

Lovely and instructional video. As a 25 year old gay man, I'm sick of being stuck on abusive relationships where people either disrespect me or use me until they leave. I'm so sad and angry over that, but I constantly pray not to get into a state of anger, because I know no good can come from that. However, I always give my best to people, do whatever I can to make them happy, yet they put me down, offend me, deprive me from care and nurture and I always end up with the "what am I doing wrong" thought. I just hope I can break this awful cycle forever.

I hope you can too. Life’s too short & we all deserve happiness. I’m a very harsh critic of myself, but I’m funny so I think it doesn’t really count. I’m going to try this & see how it goes.. I hope you are doing this also. Seems to me It can’t do anything but help. God bless.
