The collapse is imminent and terminal, the human body isn't suited for a sedetary lifestyle, we're supposed to be hunters, excercise,be active, i doubt back then ADD was a problem, it isnt inherently bad, a shorter attention span in this society is bad, because it doesnt fit into the world, we are supposed to be able to fit into it, go along it. Cities are being built in favor of vehicles who were optional back then, but now even the people on foot have limited freedom, they only have a narrow path. What different are we then the animals we cage in zoos? And the vehicle? its not really an option anymore - its a necessity. If you dont have a car, you have busses and trains, but you dont even have freedom there, youre supposed to go where the bus goes. This is controversial, but the Industrial revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race.
