Maybe I’m just a huge fan of Danny Phantom, but I would have put The Ultimate Enemy on my list. The stakes are very high and it gets really dark at times (Danny’s friends and family are killed, for crying out loud). On top of that, it had some decent comedy and the characters were as fantastic as they usually are.
Stephen Brown the rules I set for myself restricted me from adding it. It was only 2 parts while I think a TV movie is 3+ parts. I just wanted to make them fair to compare with the theatrical movies run time wise

Anyway,I love the team-up and relationship between SpongeBob and Plankton in the movie. While I do love the first SpongeBob movie,I do agree with you being mixed on the movie’s characters,King Neptune is funny because of his famous bald scene,but most of the time, he is such a horrible,unfair king who executes his subjects for stupid reasons,he’s always extremely mean,angry,and impatient for no reason, rules over his subjects with an iron fist,and never realizes the consequences he’s done or how his tyrannical power brutally affected his citizens throughout the movie at the end(not even realizing Plankton was the one who stole his crown and took it to Shell City and he blamed it on Mr.Krabs because a fake confession note and phone message said he did it). Mindy is just a very bland character who is used for motivation to help SpongeBob and Patrick on their journey,a few scenes of her would’ve made her more perfect. Anyway,I’m more of a Dennis guy because he’s like a cool villian and I love how he was devoted to this job to step on SpongeBob and Patrick.

Barnyard was my favourite movie and show growing up. But it has not aged well and honestly it’s a bit shit if you watch it without the nostalgia. The video game is really good though.
Personally, I think School's out the musical is a much better Fairly Odd Parents tv movie. It just felt like a much better story that was more like a movie while still having that heart and comedy. Also the songs are really just amazing.
Jake Pulley I just didn't like it as much as I did when retwatching it. It's a good standalone special but kind of underwhelming. Also it was only 44 minutes long, not technically a TV movie
It's not that we use nostalgia goggles, but that we can tell how easier it was to put cg animated pictures in the movies nowadays. They used to put work and meaning into what's being presented.
I consider Channel Chasers to be the best TV movie Nick has done,Alec Baldwin does a great job here as Adult Timmy and this is truely Vicky’s best appearance in the show.

Instead of the typical "character gets abandoned by angry friends" cliché, why not have one character complain about it's getting too dangerous, so the group splits up, but the "cowards" return later. That would at least make more sense.
The difference with something like Hey Arnold! and something like Rocket Power is that Hey Arnold! is actually really good. I've watched episodes of it a month ago to get ready for The Jungle Movie and it actually has good storytelling, characters, and can get emotional at times. Rocket Power is basically the Quack Pack of Nickelodeon. And keep in mind, Hey Arnold! isn't really that nostalgic of a show for me compared to Rugrats and CatDog, as while I watched Hey Arnold! as a kid, it wasn't a favorite of mine till I watched it again a few years ago. Heck, JoJo's Circus is better than Rocket Power. And that's for a younger audience

Again this is just my opinion, and if you disagree with me, by all means keep disagreeing with me.
As far as the SB movies go...I don't think there's anything wrong with things coming out of no where...as LONG as it's done right. Some of the seasons 1-3 episodes did it.

Wait you like Sponge Out of Water more than the original movie? I only liked maybe five or six parts of that whole film, and the live action segments were just really dumb and not executed well. Obviously this is my opinion but still.

Not only was tintin directed by Steven Speilberg, but it was written by Edgar Wright, the guy behind Shawn of the Dead. In all honesty, despite being another mc gimmick movie, it still is a good movie
I'm surprised people are upset about the Spongebob movie when you put it in the list at all. I feel I was a part of the original generation to grow up with Spongebob and I remember myself and pretty much alll of my friends being pretty disappointed with it...

The flintstones, scooby doo and smurfs also abused the "new baby joins the cast" trope. Probaly hanna barbera invented the trope to begin with

I absolutely love the movie Rango that i even did a human version cosplay of him. Tango absolutley deserves the number one spot. Most of these movies gave me nostalgia and i absolutely love them. Good list
