Hey Matt thank you for everything you’ve done for this community, you typically have the best tutorials out of the Bubble creators. With that said this video felt extremely convoluted due to illustrating the “wrong” way of doing it, and even after watching it twice it was hard to understand the basic concepts. Not sure if it’s because you were sick while filming but wanted to put it out there all the same.
Wow, this was really great -- especially the discussion of Separation of Concerns which will be new and very important to anyone who does not come from a coding background and used patterns such as MVC.
You are a very clear teacher Matt - I'd like to do your course as there's still things to learn. Can you or anyone confirm that this method still works? I can't seem to use this reusable from another reusable - I'm not getting the trigger for the primary button activating for some reason. Wondering if Bubble has broken this workaround in recent releases, potentially??
Great vid. At 15:33 you select an icon inside a repeating group that you can access data from later when clicking confirm in your confirmation popup. Is this still possible if using a table row instead of a repeating group? Im having a bit of trouble with that one.
Only by using an intermediary container like I do in the video (with a custom state). Effectively then the property is pulling the value from a container that has new data pushed into it. Alternatively you can just set custom states on the RE itself.
