A note about brimstone on the Griffin, the boss can’t actually remove brimstone even if it’s not protected because while brimstone can be cleansed, it can’t be transferred and griffin’s debuff cleanse is a transfer, so as long as you have the stats you should be able to solo griffin with Alatreon even at 1 star
I know it's said a lot but even then I don't think it's said enough, but thank you Saph! That customized gear loadout is just genius. I didn't know we had those options with the dust changees. I can't wait till I'm off of work to go play with it. And thank you HH for showing that. It's kind of hard to keep up with all the changes for an old computer illiterate man like myself.

It was torture for me just to get the champion, but it looks like he was worth it! Considering there's still quite a long time left in the Monster Hunter team-up, I just hope we get some more achievable chances at the other champs, somehow I only need the archer to complete the collection! 🙂
If it's just torture prolly yes. But if your day job makes it impossible then no it's not worth it😂

I personally hope for a guaranteed archer event, they did say limited until March, so I imagine they'll have a fairer more obtainable event for her in the future, unless you spent on average $700 for the champ during the prism event

I think there was a slight mistake when explaining the optimizer. I think you put HP as 1 and defense as 2 intending for it to put more into HP, however, the tool puts priority 6 as highest and is descending, so you were actually putting defense way above HP when you changed it to 4.
And here I thought I was doing it wrong xD
Noticed that to, you are correct. That's why it didnt change his def score when he changed it
I think this has now been updated so priority 1 is the highest, as it was counter-intuitive before

I have been slowly getting used to the tool and it's been very successful I love it just wish I had more gear to use the tool more often. It's amazing how I think I a build is great to then find out how much I was leaving at the table. Great work guys! I would like a tool to sell gear I have a hard time selling gear that's bad. Ir maybe I'm missing something...

I did put him in retaliation gear and masteries, to make the most of his buff extension A1
Nice showcase as always! I went for the champion and am glad for it. I didn't think it was that bad, except for my gem supply. I am a f2p so my gems are limited (and down to 12k now). If I was someone who bought gems and didn't care that much to save some, I would have went for the soul as well.
With RSL I didn't think it was the worst grind, I just did it throughout the day, setting up some stuff, coming back to it, switching it around and doing some more. I want to mention I also optimized it to the max to the point where for 1 stars I did 2 brutals 1 hard, for 2 stars 9 brutals 1 normal, for 3 stars 1 brew, brutal until almost max and training grounds for around 6 minutes. If I were to just do brutal to max for every rank, it would have been a breeze. Funnily enough, even though I used tons of mystery shards I kind of got them all back, I had around 6.5k before it started, still around that number.
I also went for the sand devil attack and dragon turn attack, to get the max prism shards. That was a little painful since already out of energy from training, so more gems there.
Without RSL, I would not have done this event, for sure.
Even if this event had "summon rush" in it, I would not have summoned any shards except mysteries for it. With the new summon rush now for zinogre 5 star, probably a champ chase for it as well and a new fusion around the corner, can't really touch the shards as a f2p. So he only ways this could have been better for me would have been if it had dungeon divers as well to double dip a little with the artifacts we were getting, if it had a lower point cost in total or if at least it was a little better planned with the keys. Being forced to buy the chaos ore for 7 k to get the keys was painful since I don't really use chaos ores yet on my account. Also, because of the weird way it was done, I didn't go for the last 100 titan points because I would have had to spend the extra 13k to get the leggo book and the 3 keys, just to use one of them for the points path. I don't know if that was a planned thing or just incompetent from their part. I mean even if they just had the 3 keys at the top, instead of the two, it would have allowed people to get alatreon and the points, without having to go anywhere else. Or even better, have 2 keys instead of one on the alatreon path. This way one could choose to go for the titan points or for the soul, without being forced to go to the 3 keys at the bottom.

It’s was a real drag to grind out even just the champion, I don’t blame you for a second buying the coins to finish it out; hoping the next fusion is an easy skip
Edit: I think chain breaker would be a very fitting blessing for him - thinking about how his passive pushes turnmeter for being debuffed, not building resistance seems reasonable but leave him open to CC, so the chance to clear it with chain breaker and push turnmeter when enemies hit him (while CC’d) seems interesting
Not in raid yet when that Krisk event happened. How much resource did you spend on that?
according to the optimiser priorities work the other way around to what you appeared to have understood in the video - 6 being the highest not 1... at least that is what it says under the table "Stat Priority is lowest to highest priority (1 being lowest priority and 6 being highest priority)"
and as a FTP I had no where near enough brews so I was using energy and gems, in the end I gave up and only took the event points and gave up on the here. Emptied hundreds of dupe epics from my vaults to even get that far. now with a few missed points from dragon and the rush event needing so many points - I wont even get close to the blessings now

It took me a while to decide if i wanted to finish it and collect the champion. Luckily I went for him and said eff the soul.
Aren't you using the priorities the wrong way around? I thought 6 was highest priority, 1 lowest.
The terminology is definitely confusing. I always assume the 1st priority would be the highest, too, and gotta remind myself that they coded it the other way.

Despite failing to get Fatalis when the ×2 was on; I've still managed to get 3 of the MH champs so far.
If there is a last ditch summoning event and I have enough extra shards I might go for it. Otherwise I might hold off until the next fusion that looks good to me. I'm still choked about missing a single event for Emic and losing out on him between work, sleep, and the few moments I get to play.
That Krisk Week was mental loved how stopped shaving and made yourself look like you never ate, slept or showered (first two was probably true).

I done exactly as you said I got Alatreon, saw how much I'd have to do to just get the 5 star soul and just went that is well too much. It was a grind to get the champ in the first place. I'm trying to work out a good team for him for Hydra for me but might try to run him in with the Nerigigante Archer as I have run her on Hard instead of Visix, the healing and damage Nerigigante Archer brings is great. Last key I done on Hard Hydra with her she dealt 69.5 Million and healing was 24.3 Million. These Monster hunter champs are amazing, I just dreading if they do an event for the Mythical champ

I'm torn. To pull or not to pull during tomorrows 2x + 10x on him. He would be nice addition to my hydra team and to replace pythion in my cb team (the shield and defense up would help keep my toragi alive longer, I think). But if I don't get him I likely wont be able to do the next fusion :-I

So like on Baron's a2, guaranteed placement means it can't be resisted or blocked. So block debuffs doesn't work. Also be careful with soul reap because with all the the endgame bosses if your going to hit the boss at the 14% or 20% mark it will cut the damage off at 10%. So it still may not kill the boss.
Hey HH, I got the Leggo. If I had more green shards I would get the 5 star soul. Agree this event was made to hard. Lesson learned I need to stack more green shards. Got enough brews and enough silver. Plarium just pushed me more into hording resources. Thank you for making this video. Lady H and DWJ second free to play interview please..... Please please?
I also pulled Fu-Shan today, I'm going to have alot more fun in Hydra.

It was crazy grind indeed, and i got away with it easily, and i did it on many accounts, only the champion of course, not the soul, on first day, i did 3 accounts, and second day i did few more accounts, luckily my hoarding saved my ass, 0 energy basically used, just used chickens and brews (i had 2k+ brews before the grind, and about 300-400 of 3* and 4* chickens, and about 100 5* chickens), and i still have fair amount of chickens and 1k brews left), but i feel good, i got what i wanted, and this is what good hoarding is useful for :), but i would have almost prefered 20 or 30 sacred´shards instead :)

Honestly I love the new optimizer ascension features, really helpful for us SD farmers.
I stopped when I collected the champ, didn’t go for the souls. Pffff what a grind, but did it without spending a dime!! Just try to hold on to the stones and pull them at event like this. That saved me. Now I hope he is more than decent 😉
The stat priority on HH optimizer has me super confused. The way it reads at the bottom highest priority it 6 that is opposite of what you showed in the video. Would love it if someone can clearify.
It is wrong in the Video 1 = lowest, 6 = highest
But you shouldnt go higher than 3 or 4 otherwise the builds are quite weird sometimes.
So in this case I would Go with 3 im HP and 1 in Defense, because we want him with as high HP as possible due to his shield scaling with his HP and not that much defense is needed.
I only went for the champ, because I´ll always be able to get soul in the future. But yeah even that was a hell of a grind for me. Gz HH on getting both you tough sob.

Please explain the 5 stars in Scarab. Just because of the cleanse and block debuffs? Hed either have to be super fast or high resistance right? Am i high or did i miss something 🤔

The Champion I think was definitely worth it in the end to get (even though I would have personally liked it to be a lot less points or have more options to get points). The soul you'd have to make a really strong argument for since I don't think that's really worth all the effort on top of the effort to actually get the champ itself...
i was grinding 70 k points, and i knew it was not enough to get me the champion, because i did not have the time to do i, since i was busy working.
I decided i will buy the coin packs and i also bought the raid card, and those made it attainable.
It was the most brutal thing i went through since i started playing raid almost 10 months ago, and i did almost all the fusions since i started...when i got my champion, i could not even enjoy it, since i was completely exhausted
I got em...i gotta say, hes really great. Allows you to build Warlord purely for arena bc he can sheild up and block debuffs even better.
Since he gets 5% healing when a debuff ends, it means he's nearly invincible on the Nether Spider. All the poisons that are automatic can't hurt him at all.

How did you get that soul on rathalos i havent seen that in the shop yet ive been waiting to i check it twice a day and what did you use on him and it looks like you got him +3 as well does that mean you got him empowered too
Its random. I got the soul for him before the 7 day log in.
Does protected block debuffs protect against polymorph?
I, and others, are finding the wording/description of the priority rating in the optimizer very confusing. You selected priority 1 for HP in this video (at 23:39) , and the description of priorities says 1 for the lowest and 6 for highest.
I honestly prefer this to what they did for Krisk. Yes it is a massive grind, but you do not have to worry with being sniped.
Agree, was torture... burned 3000 gems and about 800 potions... and only got the champ and stopped. Thank goodness for RSL Helper.

The way I got the champ rslhelper wouldn’t have even helped me. I burned through potions. I knew I didn’t have enough to get the ascension. But I lost out on a second bad el by 600 points due to server maintenance and I vowed I would be prepared for the next opportunity and I was.

Raid designs two awesome champs with great abilities. Hides them behind paywall and come March perhaps 1% of the player base has them. Poor job.
It's cool we got one of the new champs for free and one through a fusion, but what they did with the rest of the bunch is an insult and no one's idea of a fun game.

Other CCs have brought it up, notably Saph and one other, can't think of their name.

you've always been able to extend protected buffs -- otherwise brogni's inifity shield would not work. It's protected debuffs that can't be extended/reduced

Do you think my first 6 star should be Athel or Rathalos the blademaster? I use Athel for everything because she is so tanky and she is my campaign farmer. But Rathalos is a legendary and great for clan boss.

I was up until 5am and finished with less than an hour left. It was brutal. Hardest grind I've done in any game tbh. I'm happy I finished it tho.
next time your on the test server would be nice if you test the 5s soul brimstone without accuracy just to confirm if no accuracy is purely for 6s or for 5s as well...

It was definitely a bad event i did get the champ but i had enough of it and did not get the soul so im just hoping to pick it up one day in the soul shop
I got lucky and pulled a 4* soul for him so didn't need to get the 5*. Yes not as good but pretty close and now I can buy the 5th when it comes out
just a heads up, but i think you got the priorities backwards. at least with how the site describes them, 6 is the highest priority and 1 is the lowest priority

I just simply didnt have the resources. After grinding for Tormin and whatever soul or something at that time, and Zinogre fragments im just tapped out and cant be bothered to spend any money. Would of spent way too much trying to get Alatreon. Granted top tier supports is what i dont have, but im happy with my decision
I built him in my best guardian gear. I'm happy with it :D That grind really was awful though.
I got him but I was 50k short for the soul with no time left. I'm so bummed after all that work to miss out on the soul.
I'm hoping your game will be way better. I will get it as soon as I can. Please make most in game purchases cosmetic, like skins or whatever.
I did the grind for Alatreon and in a last ditch effort to get him pulled an eternal soulstone to finish and got lucky with a 6* Acrizia

Poor guy that finished 2nd place probably took days off to grind, and ended up having to let it go because of work ir some other obligation. He must have been thinking "What kind of cave goblin am I completing against? This guy is playing 24/7!".

Yep, I wiped out every food champion I had, pulled hundreds of Mysery shards, and used thousands of Brews; you BET I stopped after I got Alatreon! Who needs a soul, anyway?! 😆

I didn't get the soul but I have 2 champs with 5 star souls who are used every day. Siphi and my Soulcrown who is a campaign farmer with a 6 star. I can totally understand why people with a lot of time and money would see the value in getting it.
Why do you use artak your campaign farmer? Because ithos is faster and even skullcrown is the fast as well
You should have lvled up a fellhound, he is slightly faster than your current farmer and he would have saved quite some time in the long run
