- Use headphones or real speakers if you want to hear the actual sound!
I didn't use compression or EQ afterwards so small speakers won't get the thump.

I watched all the videos on this amp repair and the attention to detail you have in searching down all the needs this great old amp had is really outstanding!!! You sir, are a true professional and clearly place great care and amazing attention to detail into your craft.
I love it when you do bass amps. Makes me realize what I've been missing..
Awesome amp and great memories. Back around 1979, my brother's girlfriend convinced him to scale down. So, I traded my crummy small practice amp for my brother's monster size amp. It was an Ampeg B15-XY. It had a 15, couple of mids and a horn. The inputs said guitar and accordion. Years later I discovered that it was an experimental amp. I used to use a Hughes & Kettner Cream Machine with it. For six string guitar it was awesome. Unfortunately, I sold everything in the 90's to pay for a well deserved divorce.
You really are a master , respect to you
Thanks for the video... Ampegs have some of the best sounding bass amps, their low boost switch really makes the room vibrate. Unfortunately, most of their bass amps were underpowered for live use but are great for studio use. Thanks again.
I once had a sympathetic vibration a few years back.. never did catch her name. Amp sounds great buddy.
Great work on the amp as usual, but from a visual arts perspective, ... nice B&W shot during the demo.
This amp will definitely take you there ... then you can put on your boogie shoes and ramble on.
🙌🙏🇧🇷
Well, I do not know . A pair of 6L6s sounds like a pair of 6V6s. Where is the low frequency component?
it's all right here ua-cam.com/video/5-Z8T1B8-w0/v-deo.html

Who cares ? After all, Bobby Vega sounds decent on the same.
Not sure what you're saying.
