And at the time when people started jumping no one thought the buildings were gonna collapse, that's an important point to consider because the people jumping knew firefighters were trying to get to them but conditions in the upper floors became so unbearable that certain death was preferred over whatever they were experiencing waiting and hoping the firefighters could eventually reach them. 9/11 was considerably worse than Jan 6 in every single conceivable way.

The US were in Afghanistan for 20 years, Afghans still love the Taliban - but now ~20% of Americans hate themselves, their country, and each other. I think 2 things can be true at once. Steve’s point is a serious one. I’m a veteran too. I served in Iraq in 2008 with the 38th LRPS under the 504th. I was airborne infantry my whole military career. I saw friends injured, and unfortunately, and one was killed. With that being said, they both have valid points and they both have biased opinions. See I see that both sides (dems & republicans) do dirty business and break laws.
