Ever wonder how to properly retire a U.S. Flag?
The flag must be retired in "a dignified way, preferably by burning."
Our Marines hosted a flag retirement ceremony recently where they showed us how they do it and the importance of the ceremony.

Title 36, Section 176, Paragraph (K) states, "The flag when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning."
