Courtyard looks gorgeous Hugh and wow so many bees 🐝. Oh hope the fuchsia isn’t sick like Nick mentioned 😢😢. Is the Indian Summer like a Freshia, they are spectacular colours. I must say fall is my favourite time of year simply because it’s cooler and changes are so apparent. August for us was a dreadful month of drought but we are getting cooler and a big of rain 🙏. The courtyard is looking great, very colorful, Hugh. I've got a couple of small ginko trees on my balcony - tiny seedlings from the park a couple of years ago. The ginko is the city tree of Tokyo and that leaf shape is the symbol for the city.
Hi John, wasn't sure if the Ginko would do in a pot here, but so far it hasn't complained. They have such a unique shaped leaf don't they. All the best for the weekend ahead, Hugh
Hi Hugh there is a fuchsia disease in England, my mum in Dorset has lost all of her fuchsias 😮, mine in Northampton are ok at the moment. The osteospernum looks great, I must get some!🤠👍
Thanks for stopping by Nick. That's interesting about the Fuchsia disease - Is it a type of Fuchsia rust? Had a great collection if Fuchsia about ten years ago and lost them all to it. Hope yours remain okay! Yes, some of the flowers are doing so well despite the weather. All the very best there!
@@HortiHugo Hi Hugh I'm not sure if it's rust, I will ask her next time I speak to her. She lost her buxus sempervirens too to caterpillars.🤠👍
This buxus infestations are so lethal aren't they! I'll look out for more information on the Fuchsia disease for sure
