😂I still remember lieutenant Janice Rand's face when they brought the ship in the space dock, she was shaking here head ..lol. and when they took the ship , Scotty saying '' all systems automated and ready, a chimpanzee and 2 trainees could run it'' lol sorry for the writing.. my arms are in supports since yesterday cause accident had a few years back felt like the shoulders were cut off.. sorry had to explain, using 1 finger while holding up other arm.. gosh.. 😨 oh gosh Admiral.. eeh 10min. jiminy crickets..lol I should have bought that model when I saw it..darn..lol loved the video Admiral... as always amazing 😊🖖
The warp core on the Enterprise was fully repaired and functional. If we recall, Scotty had completed all repairs by the time they returned to Spacedock leading Kirk to say he was "Fixing the barn door after the horse escaped." Moreover, Scotty had a little time to make further repairs while in Spacedock. The outcome of his efforts was that after they stole the Enterprise it was making such great speed from Earth to the Mutara Sector that Starfleet Command didn't even bother trying to intercept her. The deficit was that Enterprise was on full automation, which was tricky at best, and had zero margin for error because there was no crew to run the systems manually if it failed. Once the automation was overloaded they were screwed. But the ship itself, if fully manned, would have been fully functional save the port torpedo launcher. The real difference is that thanks to the earlier battle damage, the endurance of the ship in battle in terms of its survivability was compromised because the hull and other systems were patched up and not 100% and less resistant to shock. But in terms of power from the warp engines, impulse and fusion generators she was fine.
Amazing! And this is before they started refitting ships with fish in the ready room. 🐟

By destroying the TOS Enterprise, Enterprise Refit should've disappeared from existence, since they are literally the same ship from different time periods. Obviously, RBG can change the laws of temporal physics and avoid paradoxes. DUN DUN DUUUUUUNNN! 👀

Incredible. The NCC-1701 Refit obviously had begun using a special tactic, systematically attacking specific systems on the NCC-1701 original. The Refit targeted weapons, taking out all of the phaser arrays one by one. Then, torpedos. Good show!

I'd say that was what I'd expect; the Refit was a major technological jump in every regard.
I must admit, I often target enemy impulse engines when playing Bridge Commander and then just sit in a convenient blind spot.
Also the Enterprise refit has one advantage Enterprise redesign increases phaser Power by channeling through the main engines...as stated by Commander William Decker in Star Trek the motion picture
I think either torpedoes or impulse would have been better to target. Even if the torpedoes stubbornly refuse to be damaged, eventually you'd cut the ship in half

That was intense. Yup there's still a gap in tech between the TOS Connie and Connie Refit. Great match though.
The damaged refit is at basically 71%output on all systems but you could reduce sensors to 10 or something and amplify the weapons and shields more

Brother, where are you getting this information that the warp core was 50% functional? If you recall, Spock repaired the Warp core - at great cost. Being a mechanic, i can tell you that any vehicle in an “accident” loses a step, even if the damage is completely repaired - in fact, there is no complete repair. If *anything,* the Enterprise in III is touchy because Scotty basically hot-wired the ship.
Which explains why the other admirals wanted to scrap her the damage was too severe to fully repair the ship and it be on par with a fresh ship
@@SuperGamefreak18 Exactly. Say in III it was like 93% the ship it was before The Wrath of Khan, the damage like accelerated her lifespan. So the brass just split the difference.
@@Adarkane325xi like hell the whole point of the climax in wrath of khan was the ship barely got out of that fight cause the warp drive barely worked from the damage. Then not even a couple of hours of effectively being parked and turned off Scotty hot wired it back on and took it to warp. If the enterprise was a car pretty sure we would have seen black smoke coming out of the engine and an oil leak following it

If the millennium Falcon can take out the Enterprise refit it doesn't say too much for the original 1701.

i don't think the ST 3 damaged 1701 refit would survive against a fresh original 1701
