I always knew Keyscape was held in high regard, but never bothered to look up any sound demos... now I completely understand why it's priced the way it is. Great playing, Woody!
Love how you can’t stop grinning with some of these!
I remember being one of the first to see Keyscape's release, having watched a live cast by Eric Persing. My reaction to it was ' The day has finally come when Hardware instruments are no longer needed. it really was that good.. You are just cementing that fact woody. I love ALL the Spectrasonics VST!
yeah, good call! all the touring pros using keyscape in mainstage
Keyscape has been out there for a while yet it still holds its own firmly. Some of the dual patches have inspired me and I've used them in compositions. I should definitely use it more often these days!
Keyscape is the best investment I've made in music gear. It's the sounds for my MIDI keyboard I practice on and one I use when recording. Now that I'm recording more I want to get Omnisphere for my synth needs what a combo of the two are.
There's a lovely little filter cut off on that clavichord patch that makes it scream.
1:53 man i got video game nostalgia so beautiful
was this my minecraft style improv? thanks!
Would be great to have a similar overview of the Keyscape Creative presets that come with Omnisphere and Keyscape combined.
The piano intro to Joy To the World by Three Dog Night was played on a Hohner Pianet.
Excellent demo, awesome sounds. Thanks a lot, Woody! Great job.
wow, appreciated, thanks
13:40 Not bad. You've almost reached concert pianist level skill by now.
Another great video Woody, thanks! I love Spectrasonics stuff, they do it all so very well. Unfortunately I've used Keyscape way, way less since I got my Nautilus. Although it doesn't have all the sounds of Keyscape, it has all the main ones and plenty of scope to create my own...all with extra instruments and drums! I'm sure I'll still use Keyscape because it's too good not to, but my Nautilus has rather elbowed it aside for the time being!
yeah, lot of overlap there, and can't beat just turning on a synth and calling up a patch!
Great song on the final patch! Keane- Sonewhere Only We Know!
love the keyscape mate! love the mk20 sounding thing mate, hope you are well anyway mate! :)
all good buddy!
Wow! Simply wow! I've never heard this plugin. But now I want it, lol
how could you have missed this one!
@@WoodyPianoShack Well, because you, Bad Cool Guy, got me hooked on synthesizers a long time ago, and I have 5 of them (plus 2 plugins from Korg) and it's already hard for me to find time to play with them all :)
Those joplin’s were spectacular!! ❤
yeah, that tack piano seems to be designed for them!
This, Omnisphere & Trillian is all 90% of people need. Initial payment is big. But nothing compared to what I’ve thrown into this over the years trying to get the sounds. Pay once, buy smart.
yes, good shout
@@WoodyPianoShack And their customer support is top notch. I've had replies every time within minutes. Getting someone from NI is like searching for a Yeti :)
I think keyscape is fantastic, great playing too, do you turn down the key off noise I have only just got it and they seem a bit much when I play but I can't here it at all on your excellent tones
congrats on your copy, i have not adjusted anything, factory settings
Some very nice playing in there! Curious, what song are you riffing on at 8:15? It sounds so familiar.
Sounds like "I love your smile" by Shanice but I could be wrong
I’ve been putting off getting Keyscape for years…I need to make the plunge😅
it is a big chunk of change, but on the other hand you get clav, wurli, rhodes, upright, grands, and if you buy those individual from other vendors it quickly adds up. plus all the other gem in keyscape!
Hey Woody, is Keyscape are still worth it to buy it? I am a beginner, but I love the sound of all the Instruments.
it's a lot of money but quite good value as you get so many instruments. compare with ni komplete bundles and choose!
going to order keyscape in a week or two, after the påske, you know the holydays..
seems like a good plan!
the bad thing is, i have only 80gb left on my main sata ssd, so i neeed to order a new 2gb ssd nvme harddisk , which you can install directly on motherboard.
this will deffently speed up my new pc with these new nvme m2 ssd , installing win10 on this new ssd, i think i will go for samsung 990 pro, only cost 1600 danish kr.
Samsung pro 990 should be the fastest on the market.
Do these support velocity and after touch too?
velocity for sure, not sure about at, rarely used for piano sounds, but i bet it's a setting in there somewhere!
@@WoodyPianoShack thank you for replying.
fair play to them working a mugs game unless the job serve you
its not worth geting out of bed for
sorry, what the heck are you talking about?
Terrible sounds (and play!). Thank you Woody
