I tried to hold on and keep faith that Najee was our best running back but after this past game I just can’t anymore. Warren just explodes with speed when he gets the ball in his hands, he has amazing acceleration, he plows into people and fights for extra yards despite being smaller than pretty much anybody trying to tackle him, he just does it all. Love Najee, I think he still has a place on the team as a short yardage guy but Warren just pops every time he gets the ball.
Najee isn't an agile "dance around" kind of RB that he's had to be because of bad blocking from a horrible OC's blocking schemes. I think it's b/c he's constantly having to dodge defenders before he even gets near the line of scrimmage - while having nary a hole to run through. He's more of a "downhill" RB who needs a few steps to "wind up" - but when he gets going he's a piledriving diesel. Put him in any other OC's offense (ie: SF, Phi, Cle, Bal, or any mid-level OL) - and he'll be one of the NFL leaders in both yds and TDs.....

If only Warren was the feature back and Harris the change of pace...they move the ball with him...but that would take good coaching and it's the Steelers
Warren is better than najee. It's so clear because it's the same offense yet Warren is finding the holes in the line. Najee and Canada both have to go this game SHOULD NOT save his job. Defense won the day for us they always do.
Najee and warren are also two vastly different players, najee gets hit a the los while warrens quick enough to get past there before he’s hit. Let’s not forget last ravens game when najee ran for 100 plus and absolutely pounded that ravens defense with his physicality, something warren can’t do
I saw a comment one time saying Warren only looks better bc he’s small enough to fit between the gaps in the line lol. Needless to say, I think we can praise Warren without dissing Najee. I think both are great and both serve their unique roles

Jaylen would have fit in with Fu and Hines back in the day. We need more of him with this mentality. Get a first down, a touchdown or that last possible yard. In other words play tough football.

najee just doesn’t believe in himself right now. playing under canada will do that to you. also, who tf is the running backs coach? isn’t it their goddamn job to help out the running backs? najee has both the physical tools and the work ethic to be at least a very solid back. if he improved his vision, balance, and speed just a little bit, he would be infinitely better. when we plays with confidence and emotion, he plays really well, as we know. but both he and pickett need to improve their reaction time so they can process the game at the right speed. watching warren and pickens has made me realize how smoothly they both play the game and how quickly they process the way the play will develop. this is a big reason that canada is not a good OC- he doesn’t know how to get his players better. i guarantee you he has not sat down with najee or kenny and told them the number one thing they both need to fix: processing and reacting to the game at professional speed.

Bro he literally just doesn't have talent. He's not explosive and is bad after contact. Tomlin loves him, he's a good dude, good leader and teammate. But he's awful compared to starting rbs around the league, every metric says he's bad, the eye test says he's bad.
