Hey brother, I’ve been following your journey through the city, and I want to thank you on behalf of all of us for speaking about our country in such a respectful and genuinely interested way. That being said, the topic of whether US citizens or foreigners, in general, should move here is a bit controversial, but that’s another story. My understanding is that you guys are also struggling in the States, and comparing what it’s like to get the same things here versus there, I can definitely share a toast of that apple cider with you at the end. Living here has its ups and downs, but my friend, you clearly love it here! Welcome.
7:01 hahaha i loved the prices in Chedraui (side note that store here in the USA is called Smart & Final and El Super, based in Commerce, CA). You can also find cheaper groceries in the following stores: La Gran Bodega and Bodega Aurrera (Aurrera maybe Walmarts outlet store)! I need to head back to CDMX! freaking amazing n better than any USA city nothing can compare to it!
This was very helpful, thanks! I will be making the move too next month. I've been several times and I always stayed in Centro or in Roma/Juarez/Reforma area. I don't want to be an hour from the center but that price you are paying is almost half of what the long term AirBnb's are going for in the close-in areas so I may look at being further south as an option.
$90 at the grocery store sounds a lot better than all the other cost of living videos. Most of them have couples spending $400-$600. Honestly that's more than we spend in the US, lol!
That is so cheap. Things out here in Denver Colorado USA are way more expensive. Just average monthly rent is around $1400 dollars for onr bedroom apartment not including utilities, food and transportation.
Everything is cheap for foreigners because of the value of their currency, but the salary of a Mexican is not enough to indulge in something expensive like pizza or cocktails.
Bro, I haven't watched ur videos on Mexico. I'm a Mexican American, but don't care for that country! For a country so big, there are not many Beautiful women compared to the other, much smaller Latin American countries!!!!
I'm Mexican too. Not a Chicano. Tbh, depends on the region. Mexico city has fame of having a lot of less attractive people. If you got to other regions like Sinaloa, I've heard the women there are beautiful
Right on, brother keep smelling those great aromas
Enjoy the old country! 🇲🇽
Take care

Welcome to Mexico sir. I am happy to see more Afro-Americans here. Come and visit Queretaro, we have a nice expat community here.

The food for those prices of food and drink I can tell my mans was in the gentrified part of Mexico. The Whitexican part of the city.
Al pozole sele ponen todas las verduras adentro del plato
In my opinion, Mexico City is so expensive…. Different cities are cheaper in Mexico, the grocery and rent. 😅

Let them stay in one place, Provincia is okay being "cheap"

LOL. I live in San Antonio, TX. The women in Mexico City are SUPER MODELS by comparison lol. From my experience, though, Guadalajara/Jalisco-WOW!
Lmao the nerve of americans calling people from other countries ugly. You people don't have mirrors over there? Delusional
