Satinette Pigeon Baby!

Short clip of a baby stainette pigeon. We like to spend time with the birds to help them be comfortable with people. The kids like spending time with them too!
At seven Strong Loft we use satinette pigeons for droppers. Satinettes don’t fly far and when let out they return right back to the pigeon loft. If a racing homer is coming back from a race and is nervous to land a dropper or coaxer is released a short distance from the loft and when they fly to the landing board it helps the homing pigeon calm down and land faster.
Aside from using them as droppers they are neat looking little birds and fun to watch play around.
