So informative! You didn’t stammer or say um a million times which is so refreshing! Now I’ve got to figure out what I want for my giant slider. Thank you and so well done!!
Great video! This is the most informative video I have found for vertical doors and windows, and yet concise and clear. Just one question - what are the differences between draperies using sheer fabrics and the vertical sheer blinds (HD Luminette) in terms of function and price?
Sheer Draperies vs. HD Luminette Vertical Sheers: Key Differences Light Control Draperies: Softens light but can't block it completely. Luminette: Adjustable vanes for better light control. Privacy Draperies: Limited privacy, especially at night. Luminette: More privacy with rotating fabric vanes. UV Protection Draperies: Minimal UV protection. Luminette: Blocks up to 99% of UV rays when closed. Operation Draperies: Manual. Luminette: Motorized options available. Durability Draperies: Prone to wear and staining. Luminette: More durable and easier to maintain. Aesthetic Draperies: Traditional, flowing look. Luminette: Modern, sleek appearance.
Oh my goodness! Exterior shade! I did NOT think of that. Harder to keep clean I will bet but I really sleek option if you don’t want anything inside and to enjoy the glass and view optimally
I didn’t know vertical honeycomb shades existed. What a fabulous idea for sliding glass doors. I have horizontal ones on kitchen windows etc because they virtually disappear when pulled up but they also keep the heat out in summer and cold out in winter. I hate vertical blinds (I think they’re ugly) so these are an excellent option. I like the idea of exterior shades but our winters are miserable and they wouldn’t be a good option for winters especially with all the snow that sometimes gathers around our sliding glass windows.
Great demo and useful information. What is the best option for windy areas? I live by the coast where it’s hot, currently my sliding panels are very noisy when I have my sliding doors open. The same with roller blinds, they keep me awake 😊
Great video, thank you. I live in the UK and would I'd like to upgrade the vertical blinds on my sliding glass patio doors to vertical honeycombe shades but I can't seem to find them in the UK. Do you ship overseas please?
I have the plantation shutters for 15 yrs now. They are nice to look at (although need to refurbish mine) but they take approximately 7 inches of space in my kitchen. I really wanted the blind in the double panel doors but I have 8 foot size slider. It would be custom and very pricey. Trying to figure out what other direction to go.
Hi Doreen - are you located in CA? Give our main office a call and if so you can schedule a consult with one of our designers to talk through this project.
@@3blindmiceusa I am in Southern California. I will call them. I need a 6x8 foot slider covering idea. I really do like the luminite shades that look like drapes.
My biggest dilemma is if I should I get internal blinds or outside blinds. My sliding door will be in a fairly cold room addition and I'm afraid that internal blind system between two panes of glass will not be able to keep the room as warm as argon inside for example.
Double check if the manufacturer has any specific cleaning instructions. Additionally, feather duster, soft brush vacuum attachment, warm water with mild soap are a few options as well.

Hi Cristina - shoot me an email at marketing@3blindmiceus.com and we can follow up there. Ty!
Such great options out there. Thank you.
Its a nice guide, I will try Your products in the future. I also like Dako coverings, they are a good niche brand for budged options.

Will wind create problems for exterior shades?
You should be fine JT. Our designers would help assist with any specific situations during a consultation.

How do you clean the sheer vertical drapery
Double check if the manufacturer has any specific cleaning instructions. Additionally, feather duster, soft brush vacuum attachment, warm water with mild soap are a few options as well.
Wish I had seen this a year ago!
I need to order replacement panels. The original manufacturer is discontinued...no idea what that means really. Anyway, can you help me with this?
You pretty good there guy.
Thanks... for you vid.

motors cost a lot of extra money
Great info but they did you dirty in the thumbnail of this video.
Why is he hard squinting at the camera and open eyed when looking at the window?
Might have been the lighting in the show room.
