⚠️ 𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗗 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗜𝗗𝗗𝗟𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗢? If so, I'm sorry that happened. I know it's awful to be startled by a mid-roll ad. I have them disabled on all of my content, but UA-cam has a confirmed bug that causes them to play for some viewers anyway. It's not just my channel - this has been a problem across the entire platform since at least mid-2022. UA-cam's engineers know about the bug and what causes it to happen, but unfortunately, they have not provided any information about when (or if) they will fix it. The bug tends to manifest as a 30-second mid-roll ad played around the 6-hour mark, and it disproportionately affects iPhone and iPad users. I have been investigating this for a very long time, and I go into more detail about my findings here: ua-cam.com/video/ndeUVgZMh1Y/v-deo.html If you are affected by the bug but still want to access my content, I recommend that you view this video's description and try one of the alternatives I have provided, such as Spotify or Odysee. If you want to stay on UA-cam, you'll find that I have live stream versions of my most popular content, and they tend to be safe from the bug - but not always. The only guaranteed way to never get ads on UA-cam is to subscribe to UA-cam Premium, which I understand is not an option for everyone. As it turns out, the reason I have the luxury of disabling ads everywhere UA-cam will let me is because my channel makes the vast majority of its revenue from UA-cam Premium. I have reviewed my analytics data and it appears that UA-cam does not compensate me for the mid-roll ads in question, which I suspect is because their systems cannot reconcile the fact that a mid-roll ad played even though I have them disabled. You are welcome to reply to this comment with information about what happened to you, but at this point, we have a pretty solid understanding of what's going on and are just hoping it will be fixed. Historically, it helped when viewers would list what type of device they were on, which app or browser was being used, the approximate timestamp of when the ad played, and what company/product/service the ad was for. I appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter, and I'm sorry there isn't more I can do.
I had an ad for the first time early this morning, around 4:45am on January 17. Sorry, don’t know what it was for because I hurriedly turned it off so it wouldn’t wake up my husband 😬 it might have been for that Chinese dance show.
@@Laurenski67 I'm sorry you had to scramble because of that. I'm in communication with UA-cam Partner Support about this right now. They've passed it to the engineering team, so hopefully we get some answers soon.
The first time I got a mid-roll ad was this morning at around 4:30am. I turned on the video around 1030 the night before. Video was playing on an iPhone. The ad was for the grocery store Kroger.
You’re a good dude bro. Thank you for your videos. Videos that help people go to bed that are 12 hours long with no ads is amazing. All while accepting donations for a good cause. Thanks for your channel bro🙏🏼
Yeah it's been on my to-do list for a bit. Someone requested it in the chat section of one of my live streams... might have been you, my memory isn't what it used to be!
@@waynethang9034 Yeah... don't have any control over people's devices. Just gotta do the best I can with the audio itself. 🙂 Fortunately, UA-cam doesn't seem to mangle audio, so that's good!
432 Hz is a popular frequency because some people believe that it has special properties. I've got more information about it in the video description. 🙂
@@Laurenski67 Hah it's all good. A lot of channels don't take the time to put anything useful in their video descriptions, so we often don't think to look.
I'm sorry that happens, but unfortunately it is a known issue. Please see the pinned comment on this video for a detailed explanation, and some potential workarounds.

It’s okay it’s just an ad

Thank you for your kind words - I'm doing my best! As long as I have a platform that lets me help, I'm going to take advantage of it. 😁
So glad you made this mix! It’s my favorite!
Yeah it's been on my to-do list for a bit. Someone requested it in the chat section of one of my live streams... might have been you, my memory isn't what it used to be!
Used this last night. Loved it:).
Excellent! Yeah, I probably waited too long to make this particular blend. Oops. 😅
I luv this one. I added it to my sleep playlist so I don't forget 😴
Aw yay! I've been seeing a very positive response to this one so far. 😄
Good content
Thank you! 😁
This will be listened to down-sampled on virtually every device playing it, but I appreciate the effort!

This made me nap when I wasn’t even sleepy
Hm... I'm not sure that's a good thing. 🤔 Well, I hope it was good sleep, at least!
Can you please do a mix with 528 hz? 🙏
Ask and ye shall receive. 😄

Every night for the last week six hours in, I wake up to a commercial plane. I do not like that.
