Just when I think I have mine dialed in, something changes. Today I noticed that the top of the cut is v shaped while barely penetrating all the way through on 3mm lite ply. My focal length tool is .640 based on the ramp method, however I have adjusted it by at lease another 3mm more and have the same cut. I wish I could get nice tight lines cut, but then again its only 40 watts pretending to be 60 watts.
