You really deserve each and every subscriber and like you get! You are an excellent teacher of excel, and make very useful videos for most excel users! Keep up the good work!
Excellent video Sumit! It is the most informative video I have seen on REGEX. You have explained each step in an understandable manner. You make it sound so easy but I'm sure it will be a steep learning curve for me. But you have me going and pointed in the right direction. Thank You.
Very well explained. You have put in lot of efforts in preparing this vtdeo. We appreciate your dedication. How many of us would have understood and how many will make use of this functionality of Excel is a point to think of.
Thank you Chandravadan ji 🙂 While some parts of REGEX can be a bit complicated, a lot can be done with simple patterns (such as splitting numbers and text or extracting data from cell). The best part is that even if someone doesn't know any REGEX, they can create a pattern using any AI tools. Most of the times, the pattern given by AI tools is spot on. I hope REGEX is adopted by most Excel users as it's quite powerful
Thanks Ivan... Glad you found it helpful. I also tried to add some additional examples about Grouping and Greedy meta characters that I didn't talk about in the meetup
In the first example where there is no space between the names, why, to get the surname do you not have to swap the square brackets round as you are looking for lower case first. ie [a-z][A-Z]+$
