Beautiful rendition of lovely tunes. Really nice stuff. I say that as a traditional Irish music musician. As for the clothing, can't see or hear how it affects such nice music - remember "Clothes Never Made a Lady" Perhaps you should go and join the League of Decency instead of watching nice music on UA-cam!
I've seen it titled as Mominette by Maxou Heintzen. It's interesting because I learned the same tune in a workshop in Canada, only titled 'Ca Ira'. Whatever it is, this is a beautiful rendition :)
If I was paying to LISTEN and WATCH some great live music I would not be pleased by idiots who think it is a dance hall and block the view of others -- extremely rude people IMO.
As the set finished you could clearly see how absolutely delighted Natalie was, that her music had moved people enough to get them up dancing. It's 'dance' music after all.
When I play, there's nothing that tickles me more than people getting up to dance. That's what the music's for, after all - it's not Beethoven's 5th. Just so long as they are considerate and don't block people's view.
All the musicians on that stage are clear that their chosen music styles were born out of DANCE. Thus, i’m sure they were thrilled that their music moved their audience to get up and move.
Musician myself, with my band we were active over 30 years and played numerous occasions for purely listening or dancing audience. But we never mixed both types and hated when people did. It's completely different energy when you are playing for audience which is listening or for people who are dancing. So musicians are not delighted or thrilled, they just have to keep straight face. If musicians want people to dance, there would be dance floor and no chairs. "Look, we are so cool (drunk, high, whatever) we can ruin other people's experience!" - No kids, you are just entitled and arrogant.
