- This is the first extreme demon platformer in Geometry Dash 2.2. It was actually kinda fun up until the last room, which was super annoying to do.

This update is really going to change how Extreme Demons will work from now on. It's going to make older Extremes look like a walk in the park
Older Extremes like bloodbath are at risk getting downgraded to insane demons
@@Mizuryryn if I'm being honest, I don't think Rob will downgrade them solely for the fact that they're still Extreme Demons. Maybe the list moderators will separate older demons onto a Legacy Extreme Demon list and keep 2.2 in a separate category

If from now on all extreme demons will be in platformer mode then I'm already done with trying to get better at the game. Playing them would be beyond painful lol.
Unless you're used to platformer games (not only gd), if you want to get better at it, I recomend playing super meat boy, the end is nigh, hollow knight, and more games similar to those

@@tabletuser123what makes a platformer interesting is cool movement. The stuff in GD is pretty basic, but with the tools we have in 2.2 it’s 100% possible to recreate Celest in geometry dash (you would have to use 2 player.)

Welcome to the "i wanna" series, guys. Start getting used to it, because these games have levels WAY, but WAY more harder than this. Lets not even talk about the bosses, and im pretty sure someone will recreate them.

I spent 30 min and i got to the first checkpoint... and i gave up after that i seriously cant do the first room... the first room seems to be the hardest (nvm) but cmon... my hardest is Lucid Chaos, it compares too erebus difficulty... and i cant even get to the 2nd checkpoint
the first room IS the hardest. some of the checkpoints after are laughably easy in comparison.

Gj man. I beat it in 1h55min and it felt sooo long. The fact that I played a lot of hard platformer games already (like I wanna kill the Kamiloa 3) helped a lot but one thing with gd platformer levels are different is the "ice physics" when you slide for a second after you stoped pressing the left/right arrwo key, it was so hard getting used to it xd

It’s bc it’s not extreme difficulty. If plenty of people beat it in a week when the game mode is new then it isn’t THAT hard. Just like when demon park was made, we had no idea how to scale how hard demons were just like we don’t know how to scale platformer levels right now

I just did this in 1 hr 6 mins with the most platformer experience i have being easy minecraft parkour and if this is how fast beating extreme demons is gonna be then there needs to be a separate difficulty for platformer extremes

i love insanely hard platformers and have played plenty of i wanna be the guy type games but trying to beat that whole level without any checkpoints seems like insanity to me.

well kind of i guess, with checkpoints it is kind of like an Hard Insane Demon, if you're mentally ill and you want to do this shit without checkpoints this would be fucking harder than Bloodbath, maybe top 250 or sm like that

Never played Celeste but this is what I think it is
Wait star at 0:09 you can just clear that jump. It took me an hour and a half to beat the level and you can just do that so by the time you hit the block on the top left, you can just hold left a bit to avoid the spike.
Same for 0:20 unless you were being safe
For 0:26 you can just jump all the way to the top right so even if you don’t make the jump you still hit the checkpoint. And yes I’m gonna keep doing this lol
