tomorrow (11/5/2024) will mark 11 weeks left in the season. today i will hit paragon 261, which is 20% of the total xp needed for 300. (this will be 5B of the 25B needed) so starting tomorrow: i will be grinding 2.5 billion xp per week for 8 weeks which will be enough for 300, and this leaves 3 weeks remaining in the season as a safety net just in case i fall behind. this equates to 30 tier 100 pits per day, which takes about 2 hours (this includes loading time, glyph upgrades, town time for salvage, and using group finder to maintain being in a 4 stack). i use an elixir, opal, and incense, plus the group xp bonus- as you said these might not matter much, but if i can knock off some of the grind there is no reason not to use them (i know it wont be a massive difference but every little bit helps). honestly, this isnt a big deal. yes it is monotonous and a grind. it not difficult but it is a time commitment. we are gamers and this will give us something to do 👍🏼
Keep in mind that every content creator just talks about the time grinding exp. What about the grinding of getting the optimal gear to clear high pits to lower the time leveling up. Mythic uniques, uniques, tempering and masterworking. When I passed the first 100 hours I got pretty decent meta gear with my SP to clear pit 105-110 in 3 minutes or less. Grinding in group is the fastest way to acomplish it as well as seasonal. If you are playing eternal sit back because it is gonna take double the time.
Not even worth it at this point. I wanted to get to 300 to get the special mount. But that thing is ridiculously bad in design and as a reward. They should give you the Day/Night mount from the shop. I've stopped trying.
Unfortunately, this will probably be the best season to get it with spiritborn. I am only doing it once off. Currently 282 and will only put this time into the game again when armory and leaderboards are out. Might even take a break next season
Why I think it is possible and only in this season. Rouph estimations here. Please correct me if I am wrong. Amount of XP, needed to get from 285 to 300 - is half of total XP. Running only 100 PIT you need ~140 hours for the whole road. But from 284 to 300 - only half of it - 70 hours. Additionally you mentioned, that it does not include XP boosters. Season, elixir, and some other offer permanent multiplicative XP boosters. If seasonal buff is included than at least you get 15 - obols, 8 - elixir, 5 - eccense, it is about 30% buff. 70 hours - 30% ~ 50 hours. Yes, it is only to go from 285 to 300, but it looks possible now. Even for me, who cannot play days and nights. 2-3 hours per day, ~20 days, 3 weeks. Sometimes more, sometimes less. If seasonal buff is not included, than we can reduce it by 40%. Most probably on the next season spiritborne will be fixed and it will be much more diffucult to run quicly top content. So my vision now- it is possible and it is possible only in this season. Then the time window will be closed for normal players.
It also depends on your playstyle. Hordes gives around 40m in xp for 10 mins, while i do pit 120 in about 4 mins. So the grind gets easier if you know your strengths. Impossible is nothing!
hi @randallbachir3695 I just tried this today and you are absolutely right! I think this is the way :D Honestly I rather be doing Infernal Hordes, they are fun and absolute chaos, I don;t care that there are spires on every wave lol.
Exp boost matters, its a flat percentage increase, matters as much at lower paragon as upper paragon. The exp bar isn't moving as fast at upper paragon but that flat percentage is still there.
I don't understand why it's been dismissed as insignificant.. if you were trying to save for a house.. every penny matters.. and so in this it's the same.. every kill grants just that much more xp.. so i would think a player wants every inch they can get.. in the same amount of time spent in the xp grind to 300.. scavenge..scrape..for it. It will eventually add up..
Currently almost 1/2 way at 281, going to push for 300 as will unlock it at eternal and while the spiritborn is broken it’s the only season where it may be achievable for a boomer like me
I'm on paragon 294 now and I believe this will be my first and last run for paragon 300. Honestly, at paragon 260 you are already pretty strong with all 5 boards.
hi @Deadgray! Thank you for helping us understand better the numbers and the process, P269 is already impressive! Same as clearing P150, if I may ask, what build do you recommend for this purpose, and also from your experience is it better to run IH then? Thank you again for stoppping by and sharing!
@@TheBugWarrior Hi, no problem and thanks. I can't do same thing too long as you mentioned, so I do both. IH has one bonus... GA items and masterworking materials, Pit usually gives us just crap. For Pit 150... there is generally only one build atm, funny is that I didn't need any GA 2+ items or perfect rolls, or perfect masterwork crits and made it on 1st try, seems RNG was good on boss for me. I wish you patience of XP grind, I don't have it 🙂I spent whole week to get whole Citadel armor set too, so... burnout is coming.
the last 15 paragon point do nothing for us. There is no meaningful choice to make in the paragons boards anymore. Idk why all streamers complaint about the paragon giving to much damage and the double damage peer main stat being to much...
I love how they made the grind to 300 so rough when the new class has cleared all other content in the game in 2 weeks. Literally nothing left to do except soullessly grind to 300. Absolute pointless grind. Big fail on Blizzard's part, IMO.
Looks as your estimation is not valid. The amount of XP you reached on 284 = amount of XP you need to get 300. Not the time. It is the crucial mistake. When you reach 284, I suppose you earn XP per hours much more, than when you level up, or run with bad gear. It is diffucult to estimate in terms of hours, but for sure it is not the same, comparing - number of hours you spend to reach 284 and and from 285 to 300.
I enjoy the pit an level 130 plus it's a nightmare you need to have good gear" you forgot to add " even if it's endgame you need more GA gear" where armor it's a joke 💀😆
@ it is wrong go test it yourself. Test exp from a 150. Don’t rely on others for information. Especially when you don’t understand it yourself. Let me know how you get on
Hi @RoyalNZPoE I added to the video description both sources from where I got the information, I did a test just now, I started a P80 at 49,837,259 and ended at 61,825,454 a difference of 11,988,195 instead of the 10,150,000 at the video, but right now we have the Halloween event going on that adds a +35% XP, which again based on my source experience multipliers do not affect Completion XP.

People always complaining,it's too short nothing to do,or to long too hard work!!!

The mount trophy is cool, but i agree on the mount is meh. Im 262 right now, not sure if I have the time to hit 300.

@ nice!! Alternate pits so you can have more horde compasses drop and thats it! Thats what im doing and im 292 atm. Have fun bro

P269 atm, Pit 150 cleared already. I did test myself: 10min IH - 49M XP, Pit 60 - 10M XP. Both with XP boost (potions).

What I gathered from the chart is that I might hit 300 on eternal after 3 or 4 seasons

I’m 236 paragon and running out of interest.

A little incorrect. Check your pit exp numbers again sir
its not wrong Rob would take a screen cap each time he got a new level he did that for all 300 paragons

@@TheBugWarrior thank you sir. You are right no exp modifiers affect completion
Yeah the event xp bonus is only for kills
