- What is a maker? That question is exactly what we set out to answer by visiting The Maker Camp up in the Catskill Mountains at the Blackthorn Resort. We talked with all kinds of people learning new skills like smelting, blacksmithing, and even silversmithing over the weekend while we did an anvil restoration and tig welding demos. We learned it is about learning by doing, and making ideas a reality. Stay tuned for a full videos where we restore an old beat up anvil, do a tig welding bracelet demo, and more!
