Sure, metrics can be fascinating and point you to what types of videos (unboxings, hauls) and run times resonate with audiences. That can be helpful for growth. But it's not sustainable if you're trying to force yourself into a box. The point of venues like UA-cam is authenticity. And if you don't like what you're doing, it's going to come across as the same paint-by-numbers crap everyone else is putting out. So, take stock of those metrics, but also take it with a grain of salt, because suggestions can conflict and leave you confused. If it feels true to you, keep on keepin' on! That's what makes this channel fun!

...is there not any kind of rough tracking or dispute system for some of these slab scans? Like, if I got dicked over in some employee scam that traded something 9.8 for a 9.6 I might not notice, but I can't imagine some of these submitters aren't watching what they get a lot more closely.
My understanding is that your only recourse is to crack the slab open and resubmit it, all at your own cost. But being honest, I haven't dived too deep into options, but I think I would have heard if there was anything like that (THERE SHOULD BE). If there is, my Avengers #4 is the FIRST book I'm sending. I hear they are pretty responsive to emails, so I might try that. But it seems like EVERYONE disagrees with their grades, and them addressing all of those complaints doesn't seem doable.
The capt America cover from secret wars is probably worth a slab if in really nice condition. Glad your channel popped up on my feed and i did subscribe because i know it helps the analytics and stuff i dont understand
Agree with @johnsherwood3586. Keep doing what you're and the reason I enjoy your videos more than others is your style, commentary, and selection/opinions on things. I'd be hard for me to officially slab the Archie with Godzilla so I couldn't open it up and look at it, but it'd be one I'd display in a refillable hard cases or whatever you call them so it looks kinda slabbed/framed, but you can swap out the comics whenever you want and it protects them a little more too.

Very cool, Congratulations to you Randy! I love Metal as well and have listened for a few decades. The name of your band sounds very familiar to me. It's cool that your Comic channel is in the same vein. I definitely don't hear much profanity from you. In fact it's almost non-existent, which I personally appreciate. A word here and there is pretty normal I suppose (and man, I used to let those "*%$#!" words flow). Not that you have a channel geared specifically towards children, but I would consider watching with my Daughter. I've shared some Comics channels with her. On the Dislikes, I am the same as you. I just stay away from channels, or videos that I'm not into; or that I know will get to me in some way. It is interesting how the view varies, but I get it. I tend to put off the really long videos, usually coming back to them later. By long I would say between 45 minutes to an hour or more. I love seeing the Lives and Comic channel meet-ups, but some of them are upwards of 3 hours or so, so I rarely watch them. I personally like when channel hosts chat about the topic at hand (Comics, or whatever), as well as more about themselves, sharing ideas and such, as you are here. For me, it's like hanging out with you (or whomever) and just chatting, looking at cool comic covers and so on. Cool shirt too! ~Eric
