Andy Chambers is a legend. The worst stuff he came up with is way better than GW's best nowadays. That being said, ork blood is and always will be green!
You did a great Job All Ones interviewing Andy Chambers , i loved reading his articles in WD and loved his battle reports on Epic 40K. He is by far one of the Greatest of all Time. A real G.O.A.T of table top gaming. I enjoyed the back and forth of the interview , good questions , great topics. TY
Thanks a lot.
I had a P40 Warhawk and a Spad S.VII I built when I was 8, hanging from my ceiling. I also got the D&D game and painted my first metal figure at 12, back in 1979. When GW figures started showing up in the States in the 80's I was hooked. Gary Gygax and Andy Chambers were my hero's growing up.
I myself put together many airplane models with my grandpa P-40 was one of my favorites.
Andy Chambers.
The Legend!
He was very approachable and fun to chat with.
Andy was a Hugo inspiration to me as a young kid!
His line about using paper back books brought back some memories of playing Space Hulk as a kid.
My friends and I used little rocks that we pained with nail polish and a swack of old Archie and Hardy Boys books to make hallways
I think we all started that way. Great times
He did have his quirks (random stats for things like leadership on BFG), but he is way better than those at GW now.
Hey guy who's head is Dice, lol. Great interview and good questions asked the legend Andy Chambers. IMO 3rd-4th Ed 40k was PEAK 40k with some of the best hobby content and Codices.
Andy Chambers: Living saint of wargaming!
19:45 be intrested to hear his opinion on X-Wing and Armada.
Armada in particular is a great unsung star, as X-wing seems the more popular with the public.
We had limited time so focused on what he has done wish we had had time about ask stuff like that
Awesome! This was awesome 😎
Thanks
Come back and please save 40k from the mess it is now!
Can you elaborate? I left warhammer scene in 2002 what did they do?
@@Bluudclaatthey fucked it
Why can't we see the interviewers face?!
I think it should be more about them and the game. I am also working from anther format from anther channel that does stuff on classic scooters and cars
Why do you hide your face?
Is it upside down, inside out or something even crazier?
yes it is.
Hey - hey - hey! That was a Spitfire, not Hurricane! ;)
my bad
