Your videos are always educational unlike a lot of other knife channels
You seem to well educated on Case knifes
Wish we had pawn shops here.
@@ray5156 Thank you man 👍🏻

It certainly is

@@zionpsyfer thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
That Buck 110 would bring 300 bucks at a Knife show. Great find!
@@woodentulike2no Yeah, I found that out after I got home
I have a pen knife like that one that I carried for quite a while! It’s a good knife! Thanks!
@@J.O.VenturesOutdoors Thanks, it's neat what a small slipjoint can do 👍🏻 they have a charm to them👍🏻
For this size, I like a Jack, although I'd like a pen knife.
That Case Pen knife is a sweet little knife. Thanks for sharing it with us. Have a great day.
@@swkohnle08 Thank you for watching and commenting 👍🏻🙂
Great videos. You sir, are like the Bob Ross of knife content. Keep up the good work.
@@arlo91-ob7lz Thank you 👍🏻
The recent quality is hit and miss. I saw your video about this. My experience is hit and miss. Great videos!
Great review Sir.
It's a good knife 😊

Excellent video. I’ve got a unsharpened mint yellow delrin 3233 1965-69 that was gifted me and I bought a imitation pearl often referred to as cracked ice 9333 stockman 1940-65. Love them both but they are never used and I think are really very small. I’ve always and I mean always have had a yellow delrin CASE pen knife 03244 on my person. It’s as thin as a peanut, but is longer and the blades are a bit larger certainly larger than the peanut. I’ve recently fallen down the small cigar jack rabbit hole upon finding a 62055, and that’s where I am now. You do a very good job reviewing knives and the cast of characters you bring out for comparison of size etc. are very well thought out. Looking forward to more Sir
@@danedwards8535 Thank you for your comments and kind words. Those are some neat knives you mentioned 👍🏻👍🏻
All of them are really nice little knives. I really like little Jimmy Brown. 😊
@@RadioGeekBlades Thanks man, I do too. Slip joints make really good small knives 👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome video man! These little knives need all the light they can get. There is only a handful of videos on UA-cam on this pattern. The pen was my third case knife I got. One of my favorites that I carried often until recently. I find myself liking the extra thickness of the 333. It feels better when I grip it in a cutting hold. Love the comparison to the Lancer. That and the Companion are on my collection list. And finally.........lol I'd like to mention my 233 from 2021 does in fact have the two spring design. Thanks for sharing man!🙂👍🏻
@@alexishatjialexiou7509 thank you friend 🙂
I have to pick up one of those brown delrin case knives. I like the “satin” finish on them. I get tired of wiping fingerprints off my case peanut
@@josephnywayfarer1345 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hi. It's clear that you're really excited about the Peanut. I like to have a slightly larger knife with me. About the size of a Trapper. But when I had my first Mini Trapper, I immediately fell in love with the little thing. Today I decided to order a Peanut on a whim. It'll be here in about three weeks. I'm excited to see if I like it as much as you do. Do you prefer to take a larger knife or a smaller knife with you? Or do you perhaps have a small and a large one with you?
@@WZ13 yeah, I love big knives and small knives. And often carry one of each. The Peanut is unique in that it carries like a small knife, but cuts like a large one. It won't replace the 54 trapper, but many times I find the Peanut does a better job at the task.
It's light so you can carry it along with a larger knife, and you'll often find yourself reaching for the peanut.
Which model did you go with?
@@NewAgainKnifeReviews I'm getting a yellow synthetic with a carbon blade. I've really fallen in love with these yellow synthetic handles. And when you add the carbon blade, the knife looks really old school. When it arrives, I'll already have five yellow synthetics. Trapper, Mini Trapper, Large Stockman, Medium Stockman and Peanut. Not bad for a start 🙃. During the day I always take a different one with me, depending on what I'm planning to do and where I'm going. If I go on a long walk I take a large one. If I'm in the office a lot and out and about in the city I take a small knife with me.
@WZ13 Cool 😎
My one and only folding case knife i bought on ebay was a 6233.
Nowhere on the blades are any kind of date stamp or dots or anything. Did that happen a lot for a knife with blades that tiny?
Its like half the size of any other case i own so i dont think there is room to put any kind of year dots on it
@@madtownangler it's probably an older one before they started using the dot system.
Case has a chart of their tang stamps. You can date it that way.
Every few years they changed their font. You'll have to find yours on the chart, you can date it that way.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Looks like it's probably from 1965-69. Knife looks brand new didn't know it was older than I've been alive by a few years. I was born in 1972.
I only paid like $20 for it
@madtownangler You got a deal! Does it have brown Delrin handles?
I think the 6 indicates the handle material is bone 🤔
@@peterfreidel7721 My brown Delrin knives all begin with a 6. And so does my wood folding hunter. I think the 6 can stand for "jigged material".
I bought one later in the year 2024. Brown delrin handel. I was after a copy cat of my peanut where I broke the tip off my main blade. Took it back. Traded for my red peanut. Not that I didn't like the pin knife. Just wanted a peanut. Took my old peanut to the grinder. Turned that broke tip into a warncliff blade. Turned out pretty good.
@@Steve-j5t cool man 👍🏻
