@@dickiedavieseyes Trin geo has to be our favourite segment for sure, we're glad it's yours too. You're in for a treat next episode. Really beautiful place!
What an incredibly beautiful view from that Vista. It does look as if you all made some truly wonderful memories together. This episode had a nice flow to it you are doing great with all of the new equipment you picked up. I am also glad to hear you were each able to get a good night's rest before setting sail the following day. After all, a well-rested and well-fed sailor is a happy sailor. Awaiting next week's episode as always, looking forward to what we all get to share with you. Those 80 Days are going to go by so quickly... until then, with you all every step of the way.
Tell us about it! so so many gorgeous views here :) Memory making is indeed in full swing. Glad you liked the flow and new equipment, we're looking forward to getting better at using it all. Did you prefer the Drone or Insta360 shots this episode? The clock has officially begun ticking... so glad to have you here!
Again - Awesome ep! Loving this season 😊. What you called "yellow bell" looks like Mullein to me - dried & drank as a tea it is amazing for treating respiratory conditions. It should go without saying positive plant I.D required before consuming. Keep up the great work.
So glad you're enjoying the new format! AHH perfect, thanks so much for sharing, we had no idea what it was. I (Taylor) loveeee herbal teas - that sounds amazing. Do you know any others that are great dried and drank? Plant I.D always - we're super into learning about our new surroundings, we'll see what else we come across. See you next week !
Too funny! We hiked up to that same village about 3 weeks ago and I bought a purse from the same lady. She really knows how to tear at your heart strings! She makes beautiful purses though. We love Meganisi so much.
It was such a wonderful hike right!! SOOOO much to see. Her stuff is really beautiful - and now we have twin purses!! Meganisi has definitely been one of our favs so far. Did you guys film an episode there too??
We'll get An Post Express on the job stat! Great eye, a new shirt indeed - we got him a few, keep a look out for them! Maybe some merch soon... what do you think Lamb?
Happy you liked it! + We agree, don't worry this was only the start of our season. From next episode onwards we captured a lot of footage journeying to and from each destination. Is there any particular aspect of sailing you'd like to see? Look forward to it :)
@@SVTrinityTube Well, I know boating as I've my power boat licence but I pre-learn the basics of sailing through various sailing channels. Their wins, their fails and everything inbetween helps a lot. I'm sur I'm way more techy focused than most of the audience. Btw, did you consider a deck snorkel system in order to ease the regular bottom cleaning of Trinity? That's for sur on my list for my future sailboat like powerdive or aquasea systems ? Have a nice sail ;)
@@TheHoedeni So cool, congrats on your license! Isn't it great how much we can learn from others online? So glad we can share with you in that way. Yes we did consider purchasing a dive hookah system - but are still undecided. Are those two brands some you would recommend? + Cheers!!
@@SVTrinityTube From my internet research, yes but I have no experience with it. For both of those brands I would go for the double deck snorkel, you never know if you'll need some help down below ;) . One where you can use the power of Trinity instead of batteries. Cheers
So glad your getting off the boat to stretch your legs.. funny all the times i have been to that island I have never walked over to Sparatachori. Might have to do that soon. just 49 days to my own 90day Greek odyssey again. Fiskardo is fun before it becomes mobbed with tourists. I dont even try to dock in the town.. i stay tied back to the wall out past the last finger..less headachs... and have you tried Geocaching? there are many on the islands. and its a great way to go to places you never would have thought to go.. as locals put them in amazing places. one took us into an old church that we never would have found without looking for the geocache. and hey it stretches the legs and gets you off the boat. good to wear off some of that Mythos and Kleftico. How is the water temp? normally its still chilly a bit right now... but should be warming up fast.. Being Canadian though we go swimming there in November. who am i kidding.. we go year round just not after a big rain... its so cold.
Our legs needed a break and a stretch indeed! No way - you must visit, it really was such an amazing view - great little towns too. So excited for you to finally be back on the water, we know how excited you are! Fiskardo was many things hahha... You'll have to wait for next episode to see what we mean. No we haven't, again, what a brilliant suggestion. That sounds really cool, another great way to explore the islands - we will look into it. Water now (23.6.24) - sooo lovley, most places feel like a tepid bath, however I (Taylor) will also swim in anything - so perhaps I am not the best person to ask haha. Maybe I have Canadian blood in me. Where are you looking forward to visiting most when you're back aboard?

The flora of Greece. In Greece there are approximately 6,500 species of plants. Of these, about 780 (according to others about 1,100) are endemic, that is, they do not exist anywhere else on earth. Of these, 263 are considered rare and endangered. It is unique in Europe for its wealth, but also for the large proportion of endemic plants in relation to its area. For example Germany, with an area almost three times that of Greece, has 2,400 species and 6 endemics, England with twice the area has 2,300 species and 16 endemics.
WOW! 780 endemic species that is absolutely astonishing. Thank you so so much for researching and sharing with us - we are stunned to hear that. SO lucky to be exploring such a Naturally rich country. Do you know any other countries with similar endemic population levels?? or just Greece :)
@@SVTrinityTube Italy, France and Spain have rich flora. They are 3-4 times larger in area, and despite this they have a slightly smaller flora than Greece. The geological variety of Greece, mountain masses, underground water, sun, islands, sea, climate, but also the sparsely populated Greece, favor biodiversity, fauna and flora. P.S.In addition to doctors, surveyors, diviners, etc., Alexander the Great had with him in his campaign even botanists, who sent back to Greece new plants and seeds.❣
