In today’s episode, you will learn how to program the ESP32 Cam using Arduino Uno Or Arduino Nano. We will also go through all the basic settings including the ESP32 Cam board manager installation. In the end I will also explain how to fix the most common errors including the Detected Camera not supported and the camera probe failed with error 0x20004.
There is also another issue which you might face while working on the ESP32 Cam that is the ESP32 module keeps resetting automatically. I will practically show you, how to fix these errors and run your ESP32 Camera Module without any problems.

@@dixienormus4230 Try the older version of Arduino IDE. 1.8.12 worked for me. And, 1.8.13 had the same issue as yours.

Thank you so much. You helped me to resolve my issue as well. The key in my case was the single connection of the ground and reset pins on the arduino.

u have to connect
1)Rx to RX and TX to TX
2)jumper wires between gnd and 100, while uploading
3) Also a male-male wire from gnd to reset in ur Arduino board
4)Once you click on upload, press the reset pin on the cam board once (when the code starts compiling)

Nice video I always get brownout when using Wrover board in setup, AiThinker boots without brownout , but camera is not detected, and always using an external power supply for the ESP32 module.
Sketch uses 1509901 bytes (115%) of program storage space. Maximum is 1310720 bytes.
Global variables use 70388 bytes (21%) of dynamic memory, leaving 257292 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 327680 bytes.
Sketch too big; HOW DO I SOLVE THIS??

Download an older version of arduino IDE. After 1.8 the programmer option is applied when burning bootloader.

Aoa, you must be aware that in upright position of the esp32 cam module the images taken by the camera in this default position is upside down.

None of these video shows if this module is standalone when operated. we flashed the code to cam module but do we require arduino board to be connected while it streaming video? just power supply is sufficient? does the Arduino needs to be connected to system via usb while streaming?
no, there is no need for the arduino. watch my other videos on esp32 cam,.i designed my own development boards.

which version of the Arduino IDE are you sing? you know i tried the latest version but it didn't work, then i had to switch to the Arduino version 1.6.12. try this version.
if you watch the complete video, you will see i am using 1.6.12. while in all other videos i am using the latest versions.
Options in the Tools menu change depending on the board selected. When I selected ESP32CAM_AITHINKER I had fewer options than when I selected ESP32_WROOM .

i had the same issue with arduino IDE 1.8.13, but if you install 1.8.12 you should be able to see AVR ISP in programmers. it works for me.
