You Sir are a Lifesaver... I´ve seen SO many videos to this from some teenagers without Audio, or with Audio but not explained exactly. Everyone just clicking arround and it works by them but it doesn´t by me... AFTER your video I understood finally what my problem was.... I didn´t set the Serial Number and was not able to see the IP Adress -.- But I could had just read my router and saw the IP Adress too... I just was not sure if it works or not because I just saw hyroglyphes like u did and no IP Adress, thought I destroyed it by flashing BUT it works fine and now I´m experienced to it xD TY so much man

To upload the program I had to put it into bootloaded mode first by holding IO0 on the MB board and pressing RST on camera board. Then I pressed RST again on the camera board again and it was working.

Hello, unfortunately yes. you gotta change the password in the code, click on "upload" and then restart.

If plugging in an external antenna - you need to MOVE the link and solder the link closest to l the plug.

there is MDNS you could use. Just look at File->Examples->WebServer->Advanced WebServer and you will see this line inside the setup
if (MDNS.begin("esp32")) {
Serial.println("MDNS responder started");
}
you see in the code "esp32" and that is your URL to access the camera like esp32/ and even if the IP changes, you could access it. So try running that example. the example is found only if you install the ESP32 drivers. here is introduction to ESP32 ua-cam.com/video/--Fj8QDlGuQ/v-deo.html

Ahmed, thank you for this UA-cam content. It is very useful. My ESP32 is working, but is crazy slow. It takes about 3 seconds to take a still picture, and videos are almost impossible (even at 240x240). Is there a way to boost the memory in the "Huge App" partition? It looks like it has 3MB for the app, but the board I bought on Amazon has 8MB. I bought: Aideepen ESP32-CAM W-BT Board ESP32-CAM-MB Micro USB to Serial Port CH-340G with OV2640 2MP Camera Module Dual Mode support NodeMCU.
By "impossible" for the video, I mean about one frame every 3 or 4 seconds.

no. I showed that you simply use it. Later in the video I demonstrated it so if someone need it, they should be able to use it.

it is possible to display the image for sure, but we need interface. like buttons to click and go back and forward. that needs a little work.

Oh, you can’t if micro usb is connected. Pier the module via 5V pin so you can measure

- I separated the 2 modules (MB and camera)
- I connected microusb to the MB module
- i connected pins 5V and GND
AND ALL WORKS
BUT
I tried to put the multimeter between the others GND and 3V or GND and 5V but without success, I don't know which pin to put it among.

Hi, still did not understand. Are the LED lights turn on based on body shape from camera or it is shadow on the wall? if LED lights turn on based on camera image, then it would be very expensive to purchase all those LED light. Do able but I won't make it as it is not practical and will not help anyone with their actual project. and I am not sure if I make the video with full instruction, anyone would be interested to spend like $400 or more to make it. I am not fan of having fun. it must be useful and help people. not sure. if people will watch it to have fun. even if they did, will I get 1 million view in two months to make $400?

Make sure you see the USB port available. If you have usb driver issue then, please search my channel for the word “driver”
@@robojax gracias por responder :) estuve leyendo mucho al respecto, descargue un par de drivers en otras paginas y ninguno funciono, solucione el problema con un convertidor USB a TTL cp2012, pero me desilusiono que no me funcionara el convertidor esp32-cam-mb, quizás si sea un problema del driver, revisare tu pagina con mas calma a ver que encuentro, por cierto muchas gracias :)
How would I go about using the esp32 as a simple wifi antenna for my laptop? for example if my wifi card inside was to fail, could I use the esp32 to connect and surf?
Won’t work. In your laptop that is WIFI network card. This is a microcontroller with wifi capability. You might need to work for month to figure it out .
I just got this to make a doorbell camera. I followed the instructions, and my code would successfully upload but whenever I press the reset button on the camera board or the adapter, I’d not get anything in the serial monitor or if I unplug the camera and plug it back in, it would show random question marks that would go on forever. I am considering returning it. Any solutions?

@@robojax I did that, and it is still doing that. It was always on the one you said, as I never changed it bc it was a default. I think there may be something wrong with the board as it’s not even trying to connect to wifi although the code is correct

There could be wrong setting in arduino IDE or changes in the code.
For the IP address check the SSID of your wifi. It is case sensitive. Book is not the same as book for SSID
