I never really knew My grandfather who passed in 2014 with Alzheimer’s because I was really young when he passed maybe around 5 or 6 when he passed but I’m glad to see folks appreciate their grandparents because you never know how long they’ll be around for unfortunately I never had a proper relationship with him because he had Alzheimer’s even before I was born so I never knew him without Alzheimer’s.
I stumbled this music to a video of Jun (Seventeen) during their debut time when he still cant communicate properly to his members since he is Chinese and they are Korean. And the only way for him to do so is through cooking breakfast for younger members going to school 🥺🤧 This song heals my heart ❤

My dad and I used to watch Adventure Time a lot when I was just a small child, and we loved watching the simon episodes together. I'm crying listening to this because I now know how emotionally abusive my mom is and how mentally ill me and my dad are and how we really only have each other in this house and we're both terrified of both mom and our own minds.

i watched adventure time throughtout my whole childhood, finn and jake were aaaalways my image of the perfect best friends and brothers. i never really realized how deep the show is, and now that im older i feel like watching the show again would break my heart
imagine this you lose your best friend, and you go to his house for a memorial, while your there you get a little bored and go for a walk around the house, and go into his room, and find a box of his stuff, you look through the box to find a song he wrote about you, you start to sing the song and get teary eyed... then you walk back out to the memorial.

She would visit her mom in the 80s, before she was born, then again, when her mom had babies, then she would visit her own daughter after she herself had been gone a long time, and as her daughter was about to leave the world, and she would hold her hand. Because she knows when it was her turn to leave she would want her mother and knows that her daughter would too. No idea what the writer meant, but this song was perfect for that tiktok.
