All the eCHS and e frevo capillary hoop stoves have roughly a similar boil time of about 4 minutes or 240 seconds. Which is a fantastic result in its own right. As a category they seem to be faster to boil (and bloom/boot) than all the other families of pepsi/coke/soda can alcohol stoves. Here's a big cheer for eCHS stoves!
My fastest boil with an alcohol stove was with the Fancy Feast Stove with a carbon felt wick, a grid like yours with 8 in height and 500 ml water. I had a boil after 210 seconds.
unpacking and putting away takes longer than the actual boiling, so something like the jetboil / fire maple stove with attachment points would save more time. is there an alcohol stove that doesn't spill boiling fuel on my leg if i hold it flailing my arm around? attaching such a stove to the bottom of a steel mug would be a pretty good combination
